Questions & Answers
I mean, they're a pretty cheap shoe, so it's difficult to respond to this question. They're perfectly adequate for the price, but they're not leather Capezios or anything. My 4-year-old son has worn them for two seasons of ballet and a Halloween parade, and despite the fact that he is rough on shoes, they appear to have held up well. We removed the "ribbon," which is actually a colored rubber band that won't stay tied. I hope this information is useful.
They are, after all, dance shoes. Outside is satin, inside is canvas, and the soles of the heel and toe are leather. They hold up well on the dance floor, but when my daughter took hers outside to play one day, the satin on the bottom of her foot was destroyed and no longer looked nice.
Leather covers the round section of the soul.

Cosplay of Gwen. Ballet slippers should be light and easy to move around in. Cartwheels and flips are not a problem for me. They're best used in an indoor setting. But it's just shoes. You can wear them outside (and I have), but the leather soles will be torn up by pavement and gravel, and the canvas will be stained by grass and dirt. It's difficult to thoroughly clean them. Even with what I put them through, they are hand washable and clean up surprisingly well. Because I cosplay as Spider-Man, I ordered a few pairs of these shoes just in case. Gwen is frequently seen at charity functions. However, you should order two sizes up. I'm a size eight. I'm a size 5 in the United States, so I ordered a size 10. They come in a set of five and are extremely comfortable. Thwip! br>br>Edited to add: I did, in fact, order the ten. Order two sizes up from your regular shoe size (mine is an 8) according to the product sizing guide and most other reviews. 5). My verified purchase, on the other hand, shows a number of nine. I see a lot of other reviews where people say they ordered one size but the verified purchase size also shows a smaller size. I'm not sure why or what changed, but I wanted to make it clear that I did indeed order two sizes larger!.
TWO SIZE UP IS RECOMMENDED. It's a cute little slipper, but it's SMALL in size. BUY TWO SIZES LARGER THAN REQUIRED. I wear a size 7 dress. 5 and I took the advice of another Reviewer (Thank you!). I knew I needed to go up at least two sizes, so I went with a 9. They're number five, and they're identical to my number seven. This is what 5 Name Brand Ballet Slippers can do for you. br>br>They're comfortable; I tried them on and kept saying I'd take them off and put my socks back on, but it took an hour and a half before I realized I was still wearing them when the tops of my feet became cold. br>br>I purchased mine for everyday use rather than dancing, but they appear to be well made. They're straightforward, straightforward, and adorable. They're not cheap, but they're not expensive either. They are reasonably priced. br>br>In case you missed it, here's what you need to know: ORDER TWO SIZES UP, and I strongly advise ordering two pairs. Now that I know what size to get and how much I like them, I wish I had purchased every color.
I'm glad I went with the advice in the other reviews and ordered two sizes larger! I'm a 6 in most situations. 5 (my feet are approximately 9). For reference, the toe-to-heel length is 5 inches, but I went with the 8. They're number five, and they're just right! I was even able to add some blue ribbon to the sides to make them look even more unique. (The extra ribbons are not included! I added them myself because this is for a cosplay.
Given the size options, I'm guessing these fit as expected. We pulled the string to make these 11s fit my preschooler's 10 1/2 foot, but it dug into her heel, and she spent the entire class fiddling with her shoes. She seemed to be okay after I applied bandages to her heels. These, I believe, do not have the same grip as others. This might be preferable depending on your dancing style - however, for my three-year-old son year- As a result of her age, she's sunk quite a bit. That could be due to her inexperience, but she also had kids in class who were younger and less coordinated, and they didn't fall as much. We'll stick with them for now, but if she keeps falling or the fit continues to be an issue, I'll probably end up buying the more expensive ones.
These were purchased for the purpose of kicking around the house and pretending to be fancy, which is something I enjoy doing. They are extremely relaxing. I usually wear a size 11 in street shoes, so I ordered a 13M and they fit perfectly; these shoes are exactly what you'd expect for the price, so I give them five stars.
These were inspired by Spider Gwen, so I bought them. I don't cosplay, but I do wear them as house slippers around the house. They fit perfectly, are true to size, and are very comfortable. Outside, I wouldn't wear them, but I think they'll hold up well inside. I tried wearing them to the gym once because I'm a minimalist shoe person, and while I enjoyed the movement, the small leather patches on the soles didn't provide the traction I needed for some moves, such as ring rows.
Even though I measured and ordered according to the supplied chart, I had to return the first pair because they were far too big; however, since they offered free returns, this was not a problem. I reordered three sizes smaller and they fit her perfectly. Shipping was lightning fast. br>br>In terms of quality, they're adequate for the price; they're canvas slippers with a bit of leather grip on the heels and ball of the foot. I'm not sure how well the elastic cross band will hold up in the long run. The elastic tie, as is customary, is extremely adjustable. This is a very affordable option that comes in a variety of colors that you won't find in regular ballet flats stores.
My 11-year-old daughter had misplaced her original dance shoes and required a replacement. She prefers these to the ones she had before. She is dressed in a size four. a shoe size 5 I ordered a size 4 and they fit perfectly, as well as being slightly cushioned. Her new ones are a little paler than her old ones, but not so much that she can't wear them in class.
