This is the perfect shade of pink; it's not too bright. The package itself was the source of my problem. They were in a nice box, but they were inside one of those long plastic earring bags, and the box didn't have enough room for the bag's length, so the earrings were scrunched up. I ended up correctly putting them on the cardboard hanger in the plastic bag, then re-inserting them and flattening them with a book. They're extremely attractive. However, they were the only seller who had this exact color, but there is another seller who has these exact earrings for a lower price and they don't appear to be any different. Despite reading a review that said they shed, they appear to be sturdy. That hasn't happened to me yet, but I believe they are "outfit" earrings rather than everyday earrings. love them.

(However, it's possible that it's because I'd been wearing heavy earrings all day? And I don't mean that lightly. I'm extremely sensitive to low-cost metals, and infection is a common occurrence for me. I've had them on for about three months now. I've worn these four times now and haven't had any major problems; I'm not sure if they're wearing down to the point where they'll cause infection, or if this is the worst they'll get (meaning they won't infect). If there are any problems, I'll make an effort to remember to update. Having said that, as with all "cheap" costume jewelry, buyer beware (if you have a negative reaction to cheap jewelry). I purchased the RIAH fashion teal earrings and matching teal necklace. The necklace I received was identical to the one described on the website. The earrings I received are a completely different color than the ones advertised and do not go with the necklace in the least. I'm afraid to return the item and exchange for another because the box from RIAH says teal green, but the earrings are more of a dark turquoise, and who's to say I won't get another pair of earrings that don't match the necklace? So irritated!.

My package came in a square box with a plastic bag in it. As a result, the tassels had static cling and had to be folded. I simply smoothed them out with a clean hand, and I would recommend a larger bag or the use of cloth to store earrings for shipping. Overall, these earrings have exceeded my expectations! RIAH Fashion is responsible for the last three pairs of earrings on the bottom row.
