As much as I would like to say I was exaggerating, I had a hard crash burnout with laundry, which led me to get rid of all my children's clothes and replace them with four dresses for each of my girls. With their closets now simplified, and with laundry easier, they're living a simpler life. I just love the feel of these dresses and the way they fit my girls. Summer and fall can be worn with these, so they liked the fact that there was less laundry to do. You can wear leggings underneath if it is cooler outside. Neither my youngest daughter nor my oldest daughter wanted prints, but my youngest daughter wanted all solids. I expected the colors to be as expected and there are no loose strings or stitches. I originally wanted my oldest daughter to have all overalls in her wardrobe since she helps with a lot of the animal chores at But she also decided that if girls like Laura and Mary Ingalls can live in the country wearing dresses, then maybe she could be like an early pioneer. The fact that she can go from feeding animals to going into town without changing clothes is amazing to me. As a result, we have to get new boots for all kids at once (expensive, but convenient for timing), and these will all look fabulous with a brown boot as well.

We're off by a size

You need to go up a size because the sizing is off. The 4-minute movie is just way too long A mismatch between measurement in sizing description and actual dress size. I ordered up for my 8 year old but there is no option to order up for the 11/12 size. I will need to add extra material to the bottom in order to make the dress longer. These are my daughters christmas.
