Despite the fact that I have not used them in rivers, I have used them on hiking trails that have touch terrain. There are no less than quality sandals here. These will hold up well to whatever use you put them to.
The sandals in the size 6 can fit me in the big kid size 6, but the size 7 in Ladies won't fit me.
One size 13 was the ones I ordered for my little boy. A size 7 m is considered a child's size, but an adult size 8 equals the size 7 m.

It's hard to think of anything that I can add to a Chacos review that hasn't already been said. Their style really lives up to praise, as they feature complete adjustment and a superb arch support. A Z/1 from each of these manufacturers was purchased - The child's version is a size 6 (leopard webbing) and the woman's version is a size 8 (purple webbing). I found their sizes to be identical- Aside from the outsole, there was no difference I didn't like the weight of the women's, which came with the (now) discontinued unaweep sole. I liked the lighter kids sandal better than the women's size, but neither of them provided the amount of support or aggressive arch support I expect from Chaco. I just thought the kids' sandals let me down a bit in terms of arch support. From the picture, you can see that the kids' size 6 and the women's size 8 (normal width) are the same length and width.

Chaco shoes are the only shoes I buy when I am working out because of my high arches. I have had better success with Merrells and Nikes than any other shoes. A high arch support system is built into them. The shop also sells flip flops, a favorite of mine. A great deal was being offered on these.
Shoes like this are great. I like how it fits, and I find it very comfortable. Since the girl wears a child's size 6 1/2, I was able to order a woman's size to save money.
