This is confusing because of the sizes. (Less than 3) is the smallest size in the Little Kids category, followed by 11, 12, 13, 1, 2, 3, and finally 2 which is the biggest. The common sense of your mind would tell you that Little Kids sizes would end at 13 months and Big Kids would start We have been living in a world where common sense has long since disappeared.
That doesn't seem to be the case. It looks like there's a fold of material behind the zipper that will keep you dry. She certainly gets more snow protection from these than her shoes with lace ups. It's usually deep snow that gets in her way, but she's never had a problem.

Having ordered several pairs of boots for my daughter this year, this is about the fourth or fifth pair I have ordered. Those who tried on their shoes did not make it past the first try. doesn't like the way socks feel and sometimes struggles with the way shoes feel. She disliked all types of stitching and textures on boots, so she avoided them. Because the lining is removable and reverse stitched, these are smooth on the inside. I can't wait until next year to put an end to the boot drama. Despite appearing to be cheap, these boots are as warm as any other kid boot (fine for an hour in the snow, but not much longer). There is a little weight difference when compared to normal flip flops, but that is normal since those are snow boots and not flip flops. I highly recommend these for your children.
