They run true to size, but I went up a half size to accommodate thick soccer socks and give myself some breathing room. My daughter hasn't developed any blisters as a result of her experience.
The pink and blue shoe is no problem.
That was the size I purchased for my three-year-old, and they fit her perfectly.
I'd probably go with a score of 8. 5 to increase your chances of finishing the season. These children are growing up way too quickly! It's also much easier to put on thicker socks to help them fit better, but there's nothing you can do if they're too small. Best of luck, and have a good time!

These cleats were purchased last year and have now been through two soccer camps and one full season. She'll put them on again this season because they're still in good condition. This photo was taken today, and the design has yet to peel for us. She claims that they are comfortable to wear and that they are wide enough for her wide feet. The laces could be a little shorter, but they're adequate.
To be honest, I'm not sure how comfortable these are. What I do know is that if they didn't look like her favorite movie, my daughter would not have worn them or been allowed to play soccer. When I put them on her feet and lace them, they appear to be of good quality. They're not falling apart (in fact, they've held up just as well as my son's well-known brand cleats) and we're nearly done with the season. She's gotten a lot of positive feedback on them. Honestly, she no longer cares about the cleats because she enjoys soccer so much. I agree, but I doubt this boat would have left the dock without these cleats. In a heartbeat, I would buy them again.

After trying it on, I discovered it had never been worn before. . . . Isn't that fine? We’ll next size up is not available and they’ll wish to charge 25% for return shipping. We have no way of knowing if they are good shoes. However, proceed with caution and be aware that a few will return.
I was worried they'd be cheap, but they fit perfectly, the laces are sturdy, and the cleats are securely attached to the shoe. It might appear that this isn't true. Sensible but inexpensive cleats often use weak glue, giving the impression that the cleats are about to fall off or that the sole is not well integrated into the shoe. My daughter adores the design, and I appreciate the quality of the construction. Two campers who are quite content.
