Vietnam, according to the label on the inside of the shoe. It's written in French, so bear that in mind. Produced in Vietnam
Yes, I just tried it and it came off without difficulty.
So, yes, I believe it. However, I suppose it is a matter of taste. Dark colors are not a problem for my daughter.
I'd say it's about average, but my son has flat feet and doesn't require much arch support. It is, however, a nice, sturdy sneaker. They were, in my opinion, superior to the previous pair of New Balance sneakers we had.

For my son, I bought a couple of pairs of these sneakers. I purchased one in a smaller size and one in a half-size larger in early September. The smaller one was comfortable, but I kept the larger one because I liked the style and fit. After 6 weeks, however, the couple fell out of love. I initially blamed my son's usage and ordered another pair in the same size, but the second pair broke after only two weeks (at the seams and even a piece of the sole had separated). At this point, I determined that the problem was one of quality, and I was able to return the second pair. When I contacted Amazon customer service about the pair in a larger size that I had previously purchased (but had never worn), I was told that the return window had closed and that I should contact the manufacturer. I'm dissatisfied with Amazon's lack of assistance in resolving this problem.
New Balance makes great shoes, and we have a lot of them in our house with two little boys running around, but I would not buy these shoes again. For the first week, the bright orange is cool, until your child gets them super dirty and they start to look terrible. They don't do a good job of hiding dirt. Within the first few weeks, the Velcro tabs ripped the top layer from the bottom layer, forcing us to either slide them on without using the Velcro strip or risk tearing the entire tab off to keep the shoe tight. My child, on the other hand, is a huge fan! That's all there is to it.
I'm disappointed because I rely on New Balance for support and quality in my own sneakers. br>I bought these for our baby boy five weeks ago, and they're already worn out. The velcro is ripped, the sole and toe box are worn, and I'm guessing we'll get another two or three weeks out of them. br>His previous Saucony pair lasted 5 months with plenty of wear left in them; he simply had a growth spurt. br>It's disappointing that I have to buy another pair before he's even outgrown the size.
They've only been in school for six weeks (Kindergarten) and they've already been destroyed. Made in a poor manner. They're thin, have no support, and the front of the sole has worn off. They're only worn to school. He isn't playing on rough terrain because the playground is mulched. They were Velcro and easy to put on and take off for my 5-year-old, so I bought them. They're of poor quality, and because they're so thin, they can't be worn in the cold.
This shoe is extremely durable. Apart from the expected grime and dirt, which I cleaned with toothpaste and baking soda, my son wore them for the majority of the school year with no problems. He also wears an AFO on one of his legs, so the Wide size was ideal for him.
It didn't even last a month, which was a huge letdown. My son has only had these for three weeks and the uppers have already developed holes. I've always trusted New Balance for wide widths and high-quality footwear, so this drop in quality is unacceptably disappointing.
Finally, shoes for toddlers that are available in large sizes! I'm so glad I found a shoe that has both Velcro and a heel loop to make putting them on quick and painless. My toddler's feet are huge for his age (size 11), so I had to buy ones with laces and no loops that took forever to put on before finding these. Thank you so much!.
My son is six years old, and his feet are rapidly growing; he outgrew his first pair, and instead of trying something new, he insisted on wearing the same shoes again. We went up a size and will keep doing so until he outgrows the shoe or his tastes change.
