Thus, I believe that is true. Personally, I like it, but I guess it depends on your tastes. In my daughter's case, dark colors do not bother her.
I'd say it's probably about average, but my son has flat feet so he has not much need for arch support. Nevertheless, it's a good, sturdy sneaker. We had a pair of New Balance shoes before and I thought these were better.

These sneakers have been a part of my son's wardrobe for a few years now. During the week of September 4 to 7, I bought two t-shirts - one in a smaller size and one out of a half size larger size. Even though the smaller one fit me well, I decided to keep the larger one because I really liked the style and fit of it. it became apparent after six weeks that the pair was no longer compatible. Initially, I assumed it was the result of my son's usage, so I ordered another pair in the same size. Unfortunately, that second pair also broke after 2 weeks (at the seams and even a piece of the soles came off). It was at this point that I concluded that it was a quality issue and returned the other set. In my last contact with Amazon customer service about the pair in the larger size that I had purchased earlier (with no intent to wear), I was told that the return window had expired and that I needed to contact This issue is not being resolved by Amazon due to its lack of support.
New Balance generally makes great products, and I have a lot of their stuff in my home, but I definitely wouldn't buy these shoes again. Bright oranges are cool for the first week, but then they get super dirty, and then they look horrible. It is impossible for them to hide dirt in any way. In the first few weeks, the Velcro tabs tore from the top layer of the Velcro to the bottom layer, so we now have to slide them on without using the Velcro strip for safety reasons otherwise we risk tearing off the entire tab. However, my child is in love with them. Having said that, there you go.
My own sneakers are New Balances, and I am disappointed in the quality and support they provide. I bought these shoes for our little boy five weeks ago, and they are already worn There is a rip in the Velcro, the sole and toe box are worn, and I'm guessing we will probably use these for about two to three more weeks. *A year after his last pair lasted him 5 months with plenty of wear left in them, a growth spurt caused him to need another pair. It's disappointing that I have to buy another pair before he's even outgrown his.
Only six weeks into school (Kindergarten) and they have completely fallen apart. Making this product was not up to par. These shoes are thin, do not provide support, and the soles of the shoes have worn away. They are good only for school use. has mulch, so it isn't like he is playing on bare ground. Because they are Velcro and easy for my 5-year old to put on and take off, I bought them. Poor quality and unable to be worn in cold weather due to their paper thin material.
A great shoe that is sturdy and well-made. His shoes have been worn all year with no issues except for the expected dirt and grime that can be cleaned with baking soda and toothpaste. In addition to his AFO, he also wears a compression garment on one leg so the wide size was perfect.
I didn't last a month at all. Very disappointing. I have only been wearing these for 3 weeks and my son already made holes in the upper. Until now, I have always valued New Balance shoes for their wide widths and quality, so the downturn in quality is unacceptable to me.
Prior to finding these, I had to buy ones that had laces and no loops and they were hard to put on because my son has huge feet for his age (size 11). I appreciate these so much!.
