The color and fit are both favorites of my daughter's. The fabric is see-through, which is my only complaint. through, revealing her underwear patterns in all their glory. To compensate, she has to put on cartwheel shorts.

A little on the large side

My daughter is eight years old and now wears a size ten in girls' clothing due to a growth spurt. I went with an 8-inch shoe. She is a size 10 in this skirt, and the waist and hips are a little big on her. It's a little see-through with the light pink. She'll need shorts or a slip to wear underneath because she'll be sweating a lot. She likes the length. . . long skirts are hard to come by for girls her age. . . and it's soft and comfortable, she says. I washed it on the gentle cycle and hung it to dry, and it came out perfectly.

The package was wrinkled when it arrived

I'm always looking for skirts that aren't too short or too long. Even if it means visiting the children's area. That's exactly what I did; I went to the children's section and assessed the situation. The skirt was wrinkly when it arrived, and it didn't look good on me at all. This was a no for me because it was wrinkly, but also because of the ruffle that ran diagonally across the skirt.
