I ordered a medium for my 10-year-old daughter (who is fairly average in size for her age) and it is perfect. A small, if it stayed up at all, might be able to hang on a 3-year-old. Best of luck!

It's most likely a number of eight. 10" long. It lands just above the knee of my daughter. It is dependent on whether it is worn at the waist or above the hips. This skirt appears to be longer than most dance skirts in my opinion.

The color of this skirt provides coverage despite its thinness. I also placed an order for a light pink skirt with a thicker fabric and more privacy.

My 3-year-old can wear it! I went ahead and ordered the Lavendar skirt after asking if a size Little Girls small would fit a 3yr old who normally wears a 3T, and I'm so glad I did! It is a perfect fit! There isn't much of a difference between a toddler's waist and a small girl's waist

When compared to my daughter's black toddler skirt and the new Lavendar one in Little Girls small size, the Lavendar skirt is only about 1/2 inch larger in the waist and 3/4 inch longer.

Because it's so small, don't dry it because it'll shrink. It, on the other hand, is ideal for my little ballerina. It's something she really enjoys. It fits perfectly in the waist; it's just a smidgeon too short for me. Her legs, on the other hand, are extremely long.

Overbodysuits, bike shorts, and leggings look great with this skirt. The lines in between are a bit visible. I'd never let her wear it without a layer underneath it!.
