The fabric and elastic have held up well to cold water washing and line drying, making this a great little ballet skirt

With a cotton casing over heavy elastic, the waistband is fairly sturdy. In the casing, it does not twist.

There isn't enough elastic in the waistband to allow it to go over any legs. It's lovely and charming, but it doesn't appear to be a size 14 as I had requested.

It's a bit on the small side

This was purchased for my four-year-old daughter. A 4/5 toddler sz is usually required. Although the fabric is nice, it runs small and tight. It just fits her, but she won't be able to keep it on for long enough for her dance classes.
