I like that the strings can be used to adjust the waist instead of just being a decorative feature like they are on most children's sweatpants. My 5-year-old is very small in every way. She will require four people. The length is 5T, and the waist is 3T.
I bought two more pairs because I liked them so much. My daughter wears them outside as well as inside because they are soft and comfortable lounge pants. We like these because she's not a fat kid, but she doesn't have the body type that Carter's leggings are modeled after.
The quality was a complete letdown. After the first very careful machine wash, it appears to have been used for a long time. I washed the second pair of these pants by hand, but the same thing happened: The pants were covered in horrible balls. For my daughter, I was a big fan of OshKosh clothing because of the high quality. However, after this purchase, I'm thinking twice about purchasing any more OshKosh items.
Pockets are extremely useful. A drawstring that can be adjusted is an added bonus.
The fabric is of poor quality; after the first wash, cotton balls appeared all over the place. This brand had me hoping for more.
