I bought a medium for my 10-year-old daughter (who weighs about 75 pounds). For the 7-year-old, I'd get a small, and for the 9-year-old, I'd get a medium. I hope this information is useful.

Medium for teenagers

My granddaughter usually wears a 4T in jackets; what size hoodie would she need?

The size of these is enormous. In most store brands, my daughter is a 10/12 or Large, and in this hoodie, she is a medium. For a 4t, I'd choose the Extra Small.

(Youth Small) I wasn't sure which size to get, but it's the perfect fit for my 7-year-old. She is petite, standing 49" tall and weighing 52 pounds, and has only recently begun to wear size 7-inch shoes. She can fit into 8 tops (and many of her 6x ones).

This hoodie is very eye-catching and has lovely girly colors. It was worn by my daughter the day it arrived, and it was a good fit. It was a little thin, so layering is required on colder days; however, this isn't a problem because she warms up quickly. It's also a plus that she enjoys wearing it.

The hoodie is quite nice. My daughter adores it, and she thinks the colors are lovely. It's a little tighter than her other Under Armour hoodies, but she'll wear it anyway. I just wish it was a little more slack. Her chest is 37 inches wide. We ordered a size XL because we are 5'5".
