It was a present for my two-year-old son's third birthday. Within 1-minute of dancing around the house, the ribbon had come off. She wore it for three hours after she put it on. On the second wear, the rest of it came off. It's adorable, and the tutu is "fluffy" to boot. Just a little dissatisfied with how easily the ribbon came off. She is a three-year-old girl of average size (she just turned three), and the two-year-old boy is a two-year-old boy. She was perfectly proportioned in a size 4t.
We bought this to let everyone know that our daughter is the best ballerina in the world. This is perfect for her because she wanted something that would stay floofy. The floof is a little larger than expected, which is a bit of a letdown. For those big leaps and perry A's, this provides aerodynamics. Overall, it was money well spent.

She is 6 feet tall and wears a size 6 shoe. The tutu has a nice fluff to it. Although the leotard appeared to be small, it was able to stretch to fit her size 6 comfortably. My granddaughter, who is a size 8, would not be able to wear this. The material appears to become fuzzy after repeated washings, but I can't confirm or deny this because I've only washed it once.
