It's awesome to listen to the recordings. The phrases and sounds of Yoda are varied and interesting. That you can select short or long phrases by operating the mechanism differently (once for a short Yoda sound, three times rapidly for a longer phrase) is really cool. There was a good amount of volume and good sound quality. It is the fit of the mask that is the real problem. Among the people in my family, no one has been able to wear it for more than a few seconds. I am uncomfortable in an unimaginable way. It is for a "Star Wars" themed party I will be hosting at the end of the year. I appreciate how well it fits and how sturdy it is. There is an electronic audio component that I do not like. That is the reason I would not recommend this product. I've never heard sound effects similar to those that Yoda has and I never wanted to hear them in the series!
