The size I wear is a women's 10, and the size I wear is a men's 8. I would think a size 12 in women's would be sufficient.
The medium was also the right size for me, as I wear a size 7. Small might be a good fit for The type of socks I wore could also make a difference, I wore socks similar to the ones shown.
It was my shoe size. I have not worn my shoes since last Halloween, but I'm sure they fit just fine.

According to the reviews, I should wear a 9 women's, and after reading all the reviews, I was hesitant to buy a large. In order to get the medium, I bought it. It was okay for me to wear it for a few hours every few days for a month. Despite running short, I felt like a medium fit more like an 8 rather than a medium. In the last part of the show, they did become a little extended. Just the toes got bruised! My ankle wasn't hurt I just had my toes smashed up a bit! I highly recommend this brand, despite the sizing issue, because it is so adorable! My Dorothy costume definitely exceeded my expectations!.

For work, this is a great match with my casual/modern Dorothy costume. I was shocked to learn they were just as well made and fitting as they looked despite their price.
