The shirt is so cool! The real thing is so much better. Since we are having a pirate festival in a week or so, I bought this for my husband. Since we loved the shirt so much, we came on their website to check out what else they had. We found another black shirt similar to the one we loved. I will order that as soon as possible!.
It is important to fit and maintain My order was in off-white however I would have preferred it in white This product is not pure white, but instead has a light lime or light green hue. I was not at all offended by the cream color This is what I expected and what others on here who received this comment received as well. When it was in bright sunlight, I thought maybe the lighting was to blame, so I took it to the indoor lights. We had someone else also check, and it indeed did have a lime/light green tint to it to them as well. This will still work for the pirate festival for which it was ordered but I have to give it a 3/5 since it was not what I expected.
It fits exactly as it should. Under the lacing in the front are flaps that cover the lacing from inside. There is no white on it, but a cream color. A sword fight will not be a problem with this material!.
The shirt has a pretty cool look and seems to be of a good quality, but it does run large, so be careful. On top of that, the drawstrings around the neck and at the back of In case of needing to adjust the sleeves, you can, but there will be a lot of leftover string. If you wouldn't wish to cut off some of it (unless, like us, you need to make sure this fits actors of varying sizes and want to leave a few options open), you can leave some of those on. Shirt is very nice and fits as expected. Thin, but not too thick. In comparison to a snug Med, I can fit in a men's L comfortably. There is a little room left over, as this fits with ease. Strings on the sleeves are very long, there is a lot of slack, but on a hot day, the strings can be reversed to shorten the sleeve. My wife and I are very pleased with this shirt when compared to all other renn fair and pirate shirts we've worn in the past. We plan on getting more colors soon.
This shirt is very nice and soft, so I'm comfortable wearing it. Light and breathable, it is ideal for hot weather. A higher purchase would be appreciated.
