Sadly, this is not the case! I've layered this item with bikini bottoms, tights, and separate bloomers. It'll reveal quite a bit of your booty!
It has elastic in the waist, but it isn't too tight on me; the only thing that keeps it in place is my underwear. Yes, I believe it would be a good match for you.

My rottweiler's wedding day was perfect!.
On a Mother's Day mountain climb, this was worn by a group of young adults (both men and women) and their mothers. For men, we're all about a size 6 or a 33" waist. These tutus were durable enough to withstand 3000 feet of glissading and will be used again!.
So I bought this for a camping trip on Tutu Tuesdays, and I expected it to be of poor quality and not last very long for the price. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the product when I received it. I've never purchased a tutu before, and while I'm sure a more expensive tutu would be nicer, this tutu was definitely a good buy in terms of stitching and material quality. br>br>The tutu has an elastic band that is fairly comfortable to wear, and it has held up to a lot of activity out in the desert; I even stuffed it into a bucket for a year and pulled it out this year in perfect condition to use again. br>br>The Waistband is a little higher on the waist than I expected, but it doesn't move around much when you walk or dance. The fabric is also made of a stiff plastic-like material that holds its shape well. Even after a year of squeezing it into a bucket and pulling it out, it returned to its original shape.
Let's take a moment to appreciate how versatile this little tutu is. Because the rows of tulle are staggered in length, you can wear this tutu in two different ways. It takes on the shape of a ballerina's tutu if you wear it with the longest tulle on top. Expect to have your butt exposed. It creates a fuller, fluffier silhouette if you flip it over and wear it with the shortest layer on top (it reminds me of cupcake frosting). The majority of your butt is covered when you wear it this way. By simply flipping it over, you get two different looks. I was pleasantly surprised by the versatility of the product. br>br>In terms of fit, I'm a true plus size 1X, and the tutu was comfortable to wear without being too tight or "over-the-top. " "I'm stretched. " To give you an idea, my hip circumference is around 48" at its widest point. Any size greater than 1X may cause issues- Not because it won't fit you, but because the tulle-to-elastic thread could come undone. break. As a result, take care not to overstretch it. Excellent purchase. br>br> My next tutu will be purchased from this location.
The item does not look like the picture, which is why I only gave it three stars. The tutu is lovely, but it's not what I had in mind. Instead of sticking straight out like in the photo, the fluffy tulle hangs down like a skirt, giving it a different look than I was hoping for. br>br>I'm keeping it because the waistband elastic is of good quality. It's the same color as the tulle, so you don't notice it, and it's thick (about 2" wide) and stays put on my tiny hips (I'm a size 0-). 2 and usually, even in small sizes, waistbands are too big for me) it may be too tight if you are a larger person, but it is elastic and I'm sure it will stretch out. I'm planning on wearing these for a fun run, so I'm hoping they stay put. It's cute enough (I got three colors: red, white, and blue). They simply do not resemble the image.
When I finally put it on (I'm an 8 in American Eagle jeans), it fit perfectly. It was also a perfect fit for my husband (don't ask!). LOL), and he wears a 34 waist. I had no issues with this product; it arrived as a (seemingly) new item with no damage, and the color was exactly as described. Because this is just a basic tutu with no pantyline or attachments, you'll need to wear something underneath it in some way, unless your goal is to show off everything your Mama gave you while wearing a tutu. It can also be used as a cat toy. br>br> My cat won't leave it alone after I dropped it on the floor. It's a new toy/bed for him.
I bought it as a costume piece for a burlesque costume, and it was beyond perfect (poofy, flirty, soft, and fun). It's still the same as when I first got it, even after all these years! Now, if you're looking for something to completely cover your bottom, I'd recommend looking elsewhere, but if you're looking for a burlesque or ballet tutu, this is it! Given how relentlessly poofy it is, I'm sure it would look fantastic as a petticoat! br>br>This is a very high-quality product. I would recommend this tutu to anyone who wants to flaunt their booty a little!.
I was concerned about the fit because we have a few small girls (who still wear youth sizes) who would be too big in these. I was ecstatic to see how well they fit all of the girls and how much they enjoyed wearing them! However, when they put the tutu on with the label facing up, it lay flatter and was a lot fuller than when they put it on with the label facing down (we didn't realize this until the next day when one of the girls put it on incorrectly). You can see how they're laying flat in the picture). I would recommend these because they were well-made and attractive.
