Questions & Answers
The size of the skirt can be adjusted by tying it at the waist.
The ribbon is nylon, of high quality, and does not fade in color. We are a clothing manufacturer, and all of our costumes are well-made and of high quality.
A bustle, not a skirt, is what this is. It is worn beneath shirts to give the appearance of a large puff at the buttocks in the 1800s.
Yes, this bustle skirt is puffy enough to be worn under your wedding gown as an underskirt.

This is perfect for Halloween costumes! This was my ensemble for an Edwardian ball! I'm 5'9" and weigh 140 pounds, so it was ideal.
The skirt is a little see-through, so I needed something underneath it, as well as something to make the back poof out a little. This was precisely what I was looking for. The back of the dress was slightly longer than the skirt, which was ideal because it allowed the colored ribbon on the bottom to peek out just a little. Because it was so flowy, it made me feel like a supermodel on the runway. The tulle and ribbon are only in the back, thanks to two satin strings that tie in the front. Unless you're super skinny and pair it with booty shorts or something similar, you wouldn't be able to wear this on its own. It was ideal for my requirements! In fact, I liked the purple so much that I bought a red one to wear under the same skirt for a different costume!br>.
It's a good product. made and put together with elegance. I'm a US 8 and it's a perfect fit for me. Anyone up to a size 20 (?) should be able to wear it. It's more at the back-end-end-end-end-end-end-end-end It does not go around the hips- As a result, it takes on the appearance of a genuine Victorian bustle.
It was the outfit I wore to the Disneyland Halloween Celebration. I got a lot of positive feedback. The Bustle was worn over a long-sleeved velvet off-the-shoulder fitted gown. My goal was to play the Vintage Fashion Lady who tells all the visitors to the Haunted Mansion to "Hurry Back" in a creepy manner! The Bustle Tutu is incredibly puffy, and it layers tulle ruffle on top of tulle ruffle with a lovely black ribbon detail, as shown in the photo. I wore the Bustle for 16 1/2 hours because it was so simple to put on over my dress, similar to an apron in reverse. The Steampunk Black Vintage Bustle completed the look with a touch of the past.
I'm a big girl (not in terms of height, but in terms of weight): I'm 315 pounds and 5'3 inches tall, and I wear a size 20-23. I was worried that I'd have to sew more ribbon to make it tie properly because I'm 22 in pants, but to my surprise, it actually fits! As a result, there is no need for additional sewing. It's even better than I had hoped for in terms of quality. I'm thrilled with it and plan to use it in a burlesque performance in October. I'll post pictures once I've worn it.
It was a little long for me at 5'2", but it did the job. Just make sure you don't step on it or roll your waist before tying it off.
It's so adorable, and it's so simple to put on that anyone can do it. I'm considering purchasing more in different colors because of the excellent quality for the price.
It was cute, but it wasn't quite as big as I had hoped. It didn't completely encircle Al like it was supposed to. I have wide hips and usually wear a size 13, so it's not a one-size-fits-all item, but I still wore it and received many compliments.
