I was worried it wouldn't be poofy enough for my Halloween costume, but when I shook it out, it fluffed up nicely. I wear a size 16 in jeans and they fit well; however, they could comfortably accommodate a slightly larger or smaller waist.
(remedy). I love it. However, when I opened the plastic bag, the odor was - It's as if you're eating fish food. Something had to be done. I threw them in the washer, added some athletic wear enzymes and laundry detergent, and set the machine to a cold, hand wash cycle. Finished. The odor is no longer present. They were put in the dryer for 5 minutes on air dry/no heat. No smell. They're also full of fluffy bubble tutus! Adorbs!
But. I packed them in plastic bags for travel the next day, and when I opened the bags before loading the truck, I discovered - The pungent odor had returned. Whatever process is used to make or dye the plastic must react with it. So, don't put the tutu back into the plastic bag.
They were heavily soiled with mud and debris from the run, and there seemed to be no simple way to clean them for the next run, so I purchased five to fit various people from a thin age 10 child to an adult woman size XL, and they fit all of us comfortably with the elastic waist. They were heavily soiled with mud and debris from the run, and there seemed to be no simple way to clean them for the next run. I debated whether or not I should just buy new ones because I was afraid they would fall apart if I scrubbed them. I decided to give them a thorough cleaning using high-pressure water - as in a pressure washer for the garden. And they turned out fantastically! They didn't appear to be used at all. I was astounded by the durability of the print and the vibrant colors that did not fade. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat if I needed to, but I won't.
Most of my clothes are a size 3x, and my pants are a size 20. Even so, it was a perfect fit for me.
This was a great fit for me because I'm a plus size (24 in jeans). There's a lot of stretch in this one. As can be seen in the picture, it's also very puffy. The only drawback was that it emitted a strange odor. It was fine after I sprayed it with Febreeze and let it air out for a few hours.
This tutu was ideal for concealing my bottom in my blue-hued bodysuit for my blue-hued bodysuit. At my place of business, I'm throwing a themed party. I wear tutus for work a few times a year and would definitely order another one of these. It's a quick tutu to learn - I ended up layering it with another tutu I had to ensure I had enough coverage in the backside; if you want something to completely cover your bottom, you might want to look for something a little longer. My height and weight are 5'2" and 117 pounds, respectively.
I'll begin by saying that I've previously purchased a tutu from this company in a different color and have had no problems. ever! It's soft and cozy, and it'll go with anything. For my daughter's Halloween costume, I ordered a royal blue version. It fits perfectly this time and is just a little fluffy. I couldn't give it more than three stars because the tutu stinks like a demon. It has a fishy odor to it. I took half a bottle of febreeze and aired it out outside for several days. The stench is still unbearable. Fortunately, my daughter will only have to wear it for one night. After that, we'll be able to dispose of it. I don't think it's a waste of money, but I haven't been able to get rid of the noxious odor. I'm not sure why one smelled fine while the other reeked of rancidity. You should be wary of getting one that stinks! Aside from that, the tutu is flawless.
