My grandson was overjoyed when he received the suit and boots for Christmas, and he continues to wear them. The quality is excellent. My grandson is a small man, so his suit was roomy and he was quite comfortable in it. It's not too tight, and it doesn't limit his movements.
I'd order a size larger.
My son stood 43 inches tall and weighed 48 pounds when I bought this product. He was a perfect fit for the 6-person team. There's enough room for 8, plus a few more.
I believe it will be overly large. I bought this for my grandson when he was the same age as your son and got one that was closer to his age. I believe size 3 is the largest size you should consider.

We bought the 6/12 month size first (on the right in the photo) and then the 18 month size (on the left in the photo). The 18 month comes with a hat, and the materials are quite different. Our eldest child is 13 years old. 5 months old and tiny for her age (10% height, 40% weight, 80% head) The 6/12 month size was too small for her height, and the 18 month is a little too big for her, but it will work because the ankles and wrists have good elastic. To give you an idea of the size, the onesie in the picture is a Carter's 12 month.
My son is four years old and dresses in a size five. My son is 43 inches tall, which is the maximum height for the size 4/6. 5". I was concerned about the fit and debated whether or not to order a larger size, but I didn't want him to be swimming in it on Halloween. The sizing, on the other hand, was almost spot on. He can still wear long jeans and a long sleeve shirt underneath because he has about an inch to spare in the shoulders and crotch. The patches are real and adorable! br>br> The pockets on the zippers are real pockets, and there is a small pocket on the sleeve. The hat, which has a velcro strap, completes the look nicely, and I prefer it to a bulky helmet. br>br>At first, I was skeptical of the glowing reviews, but they are well-deserved. This is a well-made costume, and if my son still wanted it after he outgrew this one, I would buy it again. br>br>I'll post an update after Halloween to let you know how it fared in the outdoors.
This was purchased for my 6-year-old son, who stands at 4ft 1inch and is on the taller side. I was hesitant about the size because he's a skinny kid, and I didn't want anything to be too big on him; however, after reading the other reviews, I noticed that many parents went up a size, so I went with an 8-year-old. 10 & It was a perfect fit! He has enough room underneath for an outfit and a sweater, which will make the costume look even more tailored to him if I choose to bundle him up. I say perfect spacing and great quality because it looks pretty authentic and is a vibrant orange rather than a tacky neon orange. I bought the white boots for this one because it contrasts nicely with the black boots.
My son, who is only seven years old, has a tendency to wear larger sizes due to his height. I was under the impression that the 10-dollar bill was a good deal According to reviews, 12 would be appropriate, but I could only find 12-year-olds. He is 54 inches tall, and this was the perfect fit for him. I'm so glad I took other parents' advice and went down a size. He usually wears a size ten, but even that can be too small at times. The 12- 14 was a perfect fit. It's a very thin and transparent material. The intricate patches add to the authenticity of the work. I bought it because I'm nearing the end of my third trimester and needed something for my second grader's silly wax museum, which they gave him at my expense. I simply don't have the time or energy to juggle a toddler, a home life, and assisting with a detailed costume, so I caved. I'm hoping it will still be appropriate by Halloween.
This was purchased on the spur of the moment for my 6-year-old's Career Day during Spirit Week. When he grows up, he dreams of becoming an astronaut. In any case, I'm very happy with the suit. It's made of high-quality materials and isn't cheap. It's possible that the hat could be better, but it is what it is. He had only recently tried it on and found it to be extremely appealing. The proportions were ideal. My son is a tall, medium-built 6-year-old who wears Carter's, Old Navy, Osh Kosh, Volcom, and Vans clothing in a size 7/8. I ordered a size 8/10, which was perfect for him. br>Quick review:
- br>br>semi sheerbr>semi sheerbr> br>- not stretchy hat is a painbr>- a material that is thicker than othersbr>- The zipper runs all the way down to the waistbr>- a pant's ankle is elasticizedbr>- hat is a painbr>- -Patches were properly sown. br>- The neck collar is cool, it reminds me of a puffy vinylbr>- Still, the hat is a snoozer.
" Sally Ride, my junior, needed this costume for history night at her school, even though it won't stop her from going to space. Even though the rest of her costume is made up of her father's racing helmet and silver duct taped snow boots, an upside down patch isn't such a big deal. This is a bit of a bummer. Perhaps we should make a drinking game out of how many times obnoxious school children (and their parents) point it out. As a result, Living History night should be a little less agonizing than usual.
I got it for my 17-year-old daughter. Size 2/3 for my month-old daughter. I was afraid it would be too big/long when I took it out of the package, and it looked like it might be, but it was perfect for her. In Carter's and Target clothing, she wears a size 24 month to 2T, and this fit perfectly with plenty of room to grow (both up and down). This costume is so adorable and hilarious because of the details and craftsmanship, and I like that she has room underneath for another layer if it gets cold on Halloween. The arms have elastic at the wrists, allowing you to roll it once or twice if the arms are longer, and the legs have Velcro at the bottom, allowing you to Velcro it at the ankle if it's a little longer-- We did it, and it turned out great! I like that it fits her now and will probably fit her in a year, because I feel like we go through a lot of clothes in the first 18 months! This is fantastic!.
This orange suit is bright in color and provides high visibility for ascent and descent back into the atmosphere. It is also useful for search and rescue. He'll be completely trained one day; ) and will be upgraded to the Extravehicular Activity (EVA) suit, which is white to reflect the sun's heat and is easily visible in space's darkness. ) I'm in love with this outfit! Also, I have to say that I was ecstatic and surprised that Aeromax (the seller) was able to get this to me in time for Halloween! That was extremely helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to sell these! This NASA suit is ideal for any type of space-related activity. I adore babies and children, and I adore how genuine they are. It appears to be that way. My only complaint was that because my son's head circumference is in the lower percentile (currently just over 17 centimeters), the hat was far too big for him. (It came close to fitting me. ) So plan on putting the hat away until your child is a little older. I can't wait to see my son wearing it one day!.
