I own all of the Marvel Legends helmets and think they're fantastic; Iron Man is my personal favorite. This helmet looks fantastic and has the potential to be a five-star product. I'm giving it three stars because I believe there was a manufacturing flaw that was not addressed before the product was released. All of the Marvel Legends Helmets (Iron Man, Black Panther, and Star Lord) have a locking back flap. This helmet has a loose back flap. To help visualize my description, I included some pictures. There is a slot for a latch to connect to the helmet (pictured), but the back flap (as I refer to it) lacks any kind of latch to lock into the slot (pictured), resulting in a back that hangs loose when worn (as seen on my hairy arm). The model wearing it even has the back flap loose, as you can see in the photos. It's a pity, because this helmet is otherwise fantastic, but this flaw completely degrades it.
This is the fourth Marvel Legends helmet to be released, and it's one we've been waiting for for a long time. It's a fantastic rendition of Ant-Man. Helmet of a man, circa Ant- Avengers: Infinity War/Endgame/Man and the Wasp It's the more streamlined and sleek design. I'll admit that as the original Ant-Man, I was a little disappointed. The Man Helmet from his first film is far more intriguing. However, this is a matter of personal preference. br>br>Overall, it is well-made, with the same solid plastic as the previous helmets. It's mostly painted, so it looks like a prop. It doesn't appear to be a toy, and it certainly doesn't feel like one. The two side antennae must be attached straight out of the box. It's a little difficult to get used to them. Apply a light touch. Once you're on, you'll quickly realize that saving the box as a collectible is pointless. It's not going back in the box because you'll never be able to remove the antennae. br>br>Advantages;
- Sculpture that is goodbr>- a good fit for large headsbr>- Cons; The light effects are subtle but engaging. br>br>
- The painted silver is clearly painted silver, despite the fact that it is well done. It doesn't have the same gleam as metal. Repainting with Alclad II or something similar is an option for creative types.
- There is a lack of visibility. This is true of all Hasbro Marvel helmets, which comes as no surprise. It is, however, noticeably superior to the other Marvel helmets.
- The light-up effects are a little disappointing. There are no sounds, no Bluetooth speaker, and no voice changer, only lights.
- It has a stuffy feel to it. It's great for casual nerds, but actual cosplayers might want to add some extra ventilation before wearing it all day at a convention. br>br>Overall, I'd rank this as the third best Marvel helmet out of four. It's a step up from Black Panther, but Starlord and Iron Man still win. That isn't to say it's a bad thing. The four Marvel helmets are far superior to the Transformers Optimus Prime and Bumblebee helmets, and far better than the majority of Star Wars Black helmets. This guy is a must-have for any Helmet collector.
I'm so disappointed. The helmet is very sturdy, and the light-up feature is fantastic; however, one of the ear fins will not light up, and the led pins appear to be bent. I'm really disappointed that I spent so much money on a faulty helmet:.
I had trouble getting the left side antenna to light up at first, but only with the blue light; the red light worked fine. I was able to disconnect and reconnect the antenna two out of three times, and it worked the second time. br>br>The helmet's back hatch will not close. Magnets or even clips were used in the past to keep helmets closed, but this one has neither; if you lift your head at all, the back pops open. br>br>Overall, this is a good product, but the quality has started to deteriorate rapidly.
Before you buy, there are a few things you should know. 1. br>br>Probr>br>1. br>br>Probr>br> It's a fantastic display piece with incredible lighting effects. It's made of sculpted plastic and has a battery compartment beneath the nose that can hold two AA batteries. The computer display- replica precision and "display-ready" The piece's strongest qualities are "ability. " br>br>Conbr>br>2. br>br> The design of the back flap/panel is poor. No matter how big your head is, it won't stay put. It's clear that this is a flaw, as other Marvel Legends helmets have a similar design but don't have the same issue. The pegs don't appear to be large enough to catch and hold the panel in place effectively. In addition, the item is a little on the small side. The back panel will still fall open even with a 22-inch circumference head. On a head with a circumference of 24 inches, the back panel simply cannot close. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. The silver paint (which covers the majority of the helmet) can be scratched with a fingernail scratch. 4. br>br> The rubber gasket that surrounds the eyes isn't glued in place. It falls out of the eyeholes. It can be a bit of a struggle to get it on. br>br>Conclusion: br>br> This is a beautiful piece to have on your Marvel shelf, but it will not aid you in your fight against Thanos. It's unlikely to survive a costume party or a comic con because of the design flaws. It isn't even close to the quality of the other Marvel Legends items, such as the Infinity Gauntlet and the Iron Man helmet.
For the price you pay, the quality is fantastic. Marvel Legends has released yet another fantastic product (just in time for the release of Avengers: Infinity War). Endgame. Scott, good to see you again. ) However, if you have the head size that this device is designed for, the back plate that allows you to slip in and out of it does not secure properly. The little push latch isn't properly clipped in, so even the tiniest movement of your head causes the back panel to flail open wide. It shouldn't be too difficult to fix, but for nearly $100, you'd think the craftsmanship would be better. br>Aside from that, it's fantastic. The light is smoothly activated and glows from one color to the next. I think I've figured out what I'm going to wear for Halloween in 2019.
