Worse, it's a nightmare if you want to keep them anyway and change the battery yourself! This pack was carried out by three men. Despite the fact that the battery compartment is marked as removable on the tag, it is glued inside the shoe's sole. After a bit of fiddling, I was able to get it out with pliers, a flat head screwdriver, and muscle, but the screws were so small and tight that it was a different story. I'm not sure if they work yet because I haven't replaced the battery now that it's open, but I'm going to scream if this thing doesn't work after all that. I'm afraid I'll have the same problem with the next pair if I exchange them. I'm hoping for the best because these were the top item on my daughter's Christmas list. Don't waste your time if you don't have to! br>**Correction: The shoe DID work with battery replacement, but the specialized batteries were an extra $8. Fortunately, Amazon compensated me for my troubles. My original assessment remains valid. This is a product that I would not buy again.
It's attractive and durable. Because these are children's shoes, you might want to start by wearing socks. Of course, if you get them for a lot of little kids, they'll be big, and they'll clip together. clop around with them as well as grow into them They can, of course, cause blisters (due to the relatively hard plastic), but that is to be expected! The light-filled room under heavy use, the up feature has performed admirably. These have been clopped around in for a long time by two granddaughters; they're pretty, fun, and durable. No, don't expect a lot of help; when kids play princess, that's the last thing on their minds. To avoid blisters, I recommend that children first wear socks.
These Cinderella shoes were a big hit with my granddaughter. They have a large population. Because other reviews indicated that the 9/10 ran large, I purchased it. (At the moment, she's in a size 11 youth. ) Because of your reviews, they fit perfectly. I would have given them five stars if one of the shoes had stopped working after a few days. This issue was brought up in the reviews once again. I'd still buy it. Nana is ecstatic to see her in such good spirits. 😀.
My granddaughter is in love with the shoes I bought her to go with her Halloween costume, and she can't wait to put them on. The shoes' quality is excellent; I expected them to be flimsy, but this is not the case. These are the shoes I would recommend to any little girl who is dressing up as Cinderella.
These shoes are adorable, but I was disappointed to discover that one of them did not light up when I removed it from the package. My daughter specifically requested light-up shoes, which is why I purchased them. It's a real pity.
I expected them to degas over time, but four months later, they still have that chemical odor. I'm just hoping the scent/material isn't dangerous to my daughter.
We've gone through three pairs of shoes so far. The heel isn't properly sealed, so if water gets inside, the light will go out. We've also had two pairs of lights that stopped working for no apparent reason. They're a lot of fun. I wish they'd continue to glow!.
I just can't seem to get over it. I have to keep these a secret so they don't spread throughout the room!.
