There is a marked difference between the photo and reality. The color is between forest green and an emerald
This worked for me since I am 5'6" tall.
I know this is not for little kids, but I do have a full size tie for them. According to how tall your child is, you will have to adjust his or her height. In case it is too long, you can use different ways to tie it so you are able to use as much knotting as possible to fit it to your child.
This worked perfectly for an adult who is 6'4" and about 225. My son wore it in a play and he is 6'4" and 225.

It was a gift for me so I could attend a Harry Potter book release party and look like a good sport. All of the attendees were wearing some type of crazy costume. In my opinion, the tie was perfect for the occasion. The double Windsor knot is one you might be used to tying. There is a chance you will find this tie too short for you. As a result, I switched to a "single windsor" and it worked As it turned out, it was true. I would describe it as being only a few inches short of most of my adult ties when hung in my closet. A good piece of work. On the day I wear it to church with my family, I will wear it!.
this, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the green was a darker shade of green than what was pictured. This is true to the trademarked slytherin green that is on all trademark Harry Potter apparel (it was important to me because I have the cloak I purchased from Universal Studios and wanted to be sure the greens were identical). I found the quality to be good and as good as the ones sold at the parks, but they are not as expensive as those.
I read all the good reviews before ordering this tie and thought it'd be a safe purchase. I'm not sure what happened, but the tie I received was not the The tone is completely different (and I don't mean just "the display of your computer may vary" this is more drastic), the tie is textured rather than smooth, and even though the Slytherin logo is centered on the tie, its parts are visible higher up. And to top it all off, the seam on the back of the tie unravelled immediately after I tied it for the first time. The ties appear to be of the same quality as the $3 ties listed as well. The one I have here will be returned and I will order a new one.
My daughter and I bought this tie for her Halloween costume (she is a Slytherin student) and I was surprised and delighted when it arrived. In consideration of the relatively low price I paid for this tie, I was surprised at its high quality. In addition to feeling silky soft and comfortable on my neck, the fabric is also very lightweight. Considering the fabric weight, I would say it is medium. It feels as though there is some type of liner in there, giving the tie some I am not an expert in ties, but I've seen some pretty thick and fluffy ties at the thrift store, as well as some really thin ones. This tie is quite long. (Shrugs)
The length is a bit long. A little bit of my tied tie extends past my waist when I'm 5'5". Most people should be able to wear it. A tie this large would probably end at their knees, and it would be way too long for a kid. It gives you more room to work with when tying it, so I don't mind the length at all. Slytherin emblem on the bottom is nice and clear, and it aligns with the remainder of the emblem. colors and title of the photograph "Slytherin" are both tight and sharp. Neither it is embroidered on it nor does it protrude from it. Since it is a part of the 'weave' or the 'print' of the tie, it is quite This product looks awesome and is very well designed! I was really happy with this purchase and it will make my costume look extremely sharp! If you want to have a nice looking cosplay/just-for-fun outfit, this is a must-have Outfit with a dash of fun.
I don't like how short it is. You can tie a simple knot, but it's not long enough to tie a nice knot for an adult. The front seam is barely held together by a few threads at the back. I have been practicing tying knots for more than an hour now (I have never tied a tie, and this was for my daughter's costume) and already I can see it's going to fall apart. The material is soft, however.
At first, I thought this tie was a bit cheezy, but in the end it The fact that it did not have stitching worried me at first since it would look cheap, but in the end, it looked really good. It really complemented the outfit There's just one thing left for me to learn how to tie my.
In addition to my love of Slytherin and Harry Potter, I'm also a huge fan of the Dark Arts. This tie went well with the theme I chose for the beginning of the year. There is no doubt that the green color is much lighter than that of Slytherin. Slytherin is a darker green, more of a kelly green, whereas Thai has a kelly green color. If you are trying to match headbands or socks with colors, look elsewhere.
I was very pleased with the quality, and it really made a.
