In the pool, I would not allow my daughter to wear it. but you might be able to? I just don't think the material is appropriate for a bathing suit. Especially near the top, where there are sequins. The tutu would undoubtedly obstruct the process.

It was the perfect fit for my young daughter. She is dressed in three different outfits. I am 6 months old and weigh 17 pounds, so I ordered a size SMALL! It appeals to me greatly. It was perfect for her 6 month pictures (which is why I bought it), and she wore it all day with no issues. However, I'm not sure how it would hold up in water, which isn't why I bought it.
