For my son, I bought three pairs of long underwear. We kept these because they fit the best and are very soft, which my son enjoys. Unfortunately, after only a few wears, both arms' elbows are already wearing thin and pilling is beginning to appear. Furthermore, some of the stitching has already come undone. These were intended to be worn casually around the house and not for playing. They weren't cheap, either, at more than $25 after tax for a pair of kids long johns, and I didn't expect him to wear them for more than a month. My son, once again, adores them and is unconcerned about how ragged they are becoming, but his father is. Purchase was a huge letdown.
According to my son, it is very soft and comfortable, as well as warm. They didn't shrink or produce lint after I washed them as soon as I got them. I ordered a medium based on the product sizing, but it was far too small, so I had to return it and order a larger size. Both times, delivery was lightning fast. My son is six years old, tall, and muscular. He stands 4'4" (52") tall and weighs 69 pounds. In most major brands, he wears Youth Small to Medium. It was closer to 5T than medium. The XL is a perfect fit, but it will be too small for next winter.
"It's money well spent with these. " spent! On our Christmas mountain trip, I was able to get a different color for each of my children thanks to the bright colors and large selection. br>br>They never complained about being cold while wearing these! My younger two were adamant about not taking them off! br>br>This brand makes extremely comfortable thermal underwear; the fleecing makes it feel as if they're hugging you without being constricting or overheating. br>br>Quality, value, selection, and coziness all receive 5/5 stars. I bought sets for our entire family and would 100% buy them all over again!.
Because of Covid, my petite 10-year-old wears these to school. He's svelte, so these look great underneath his clothes. He is picky about the feel of clothing (especially shirts), and these are perfect. There is no tag on the shirt. I like the weight of these because of the thin layer of fleece on the inside. Other thermal underwear we have purchased does not have this fleece layer and isn't as warm.
I got these in a size XS for my average-sized almost-five-year-old boy, and the arms and legs are longer than I expected, but they fit so snugly that it won't matter, and he'll be able to wear them for longer. I had him try them on right away to make sure they were the right size, and he couldn't take them off because he loved the way they felt. I'm hoping these will come in handy for keeping him warm while we're out and about in upstate New York.
I bought them for him to wear under his snow gear, but he uses them as pjs all of the time. On the inside, they're very soft and comfortable, but they're still fitted like long underwear should be. I'll be purchasing this item in the future.
These were worn as a base layer by my son during a four-hour horseback riding event. He said they were comfortable to move around in and kept him warm but not too hot, even though it was 40 degrees outside with a slight breeze. I went out and purchased two more pairs!.
My son is currently in the size range of medium to large, so we usually go for large, which is often too big for him. He couldn't move in these (size large). Otherwise, they appear to be well-made and would likely be comfortable if you went up a size.
