My three-year-old attends forest school; we live in Kentucky, so the weather isn't particularly cold, but it does get down into the tens (F), and his teachers actually asked me to stop layering with this shirt because he was crying because he was hot and sweating when it was 15 degrees outside with 5 inches of snow. So far, it's been excellent. Runs a tad small or very true to size, with no thought given to whether or not this should be worn over a baselayer. It currently fits him well, but I had sized up for room to grow rather than a large amount of extra space.
Thick, soft, and warm. These tops are a big hit with my 5-year-old grandson. He has sensory processing issues and prefers to wear his fleece blanket instead of clothes at home. So finding nice fleece pants was simple, but I'd been looking for tops like these for a long time and had finally found them. Really nice and thick, soft, no zippers, hoods, or distracting graphics. It's just a very simple and classic look. I'm extremely pleased. The sizing is accurate.
My daughter needed a warm turtleneck undershirt to wear under her wedding party dress. This fleece sweater was recently discovered. This is going to be fantastic. My daughter is almost three years old, but she is quite petite, so I bought her a size two. This would be ideal for her. I'll take a picture of her wearing it when she does.
The fabric is extremely gentle. This is a nice fleece pullover. The turtleneck was not too tight, and I could tell it could be stretched. It keeps my little guy warm because he gets cold in the house when the air conditioner is turned on and will come in very cold during the winter.
It's a little tight around the neck, but it has a great overall feel to it. I wear it under my daughter's soccer jersey, who is two years old.
Though I sized up, it was still too small; there was no give in the fabric, and the size 4 didn't fit my skinny three-year-old, and the 24 months size was more like a 12 month size! Just for the softness and the fact that it matched the photo, I gave it two stars!.
For a girl, the neck and chest area are a little large. Her Halloween costume did, however, keep her warm.
