I ordered a larger size than I usually do. Because it gets quite cold in the Northeast, I ordered these for my son. My son enjoys wearing athletic pants (which can be quite thin), and these allow him to wear his athletic pants and sweatpants when it's cold outside, keeping him warmer while walking to the bus stop. He claims that they keep him warm and comfortable. It was an excellent deal for two pairs. I'm going to place another order. My 9-year-old (who just turned 9) is wearing a size large. He has a husky demeanor to him. If that helps with sizing, please let me know.
In the winter, they're too baggy to keep warm or wear under other pants.
It's the perfect fit for my son. He weighs 51 pounds and stands at 4 feet tall. He gets cold easily, so these are extremely beneficial. They were comfortably tucked away beneath his Jeans. I had no idea, however, that long john underwear for boys would be so difficult to come by, let alone so expensive!.
The seam on one leg busted open from the bottom of the leg to past the crotch after my son wore it once.
These are well-made in general and have already been through a couple of washes (hot). My son has sensory sensitivity and does not enjoy being hot, so these pj pants have been perfect for him so far this winter. The fabric is extremely breathable and does not get too hot. I'll be getting some more in the near future.
It's not warm, and it's a waste of money, in my opinion.
