So, for those cold days at practice, I bought the under armor cold gear shirts for my kids. I didn't want to spend the $40 on them, but I couldn't help myself. Every time they grew it, they spent $50 on it. The issue has been resolved! These shirts are identical to one another! It does the job perfectly. You will not be disappointed if you do not hesitate.

Because the weather in the Midwest can still be cold in the spring, I bought this for my son's track season, and it was perfect! It's warmer than most and will transition nicely to football season. My 8-year-old received a small, while my 10- and 11-year-olds received a medium. It was an excellent fit!.

The shirt is well-made, with a thin layer of fleece lining on the inside - The chilly early morning/late evening temperatures in South Florida are ideal for this sweater. He, on the other hand, found it far too confining. I returned it, but I intend to return for the next size up.

Warm, but size up one size

The material of the shirt isn't as stretchy as that of leading sportswear brands like UnderArmor's Coldgear line, but it appears to be warmer. After reading reviews, I decided to order one size up, and it turned out to be the right choice: My ten-year-old son was able to fit into a Youth Large with some room to grow. The color (bright red) appealed to me, and he'll have to wear it to match his club uniform. br>Will update review once it has been washed and used.

Order a size larger than usual

My 7-year-old son is the same size as a 7-year-old girl. I believe he is eight years old (51" tall and 60 pounds). I originally ordered an xs, but it was too small, so I switched to a small, which is perfect. With his sleeve rolled, he can even get away with an M. These shirts are fantastic for layering during outdoor activities and games. My son adores anything Under Armour, but he especially adores these, which I was able to obtain in a variety of colors!.
