They seem to run a little large when compared to other brands and types, but it is equally possible that those other brands run small too. It is nice that the waistband is a little looser than others, so it does not scratch my son's The designs have so far been very well-suited for my son, and the clothes have held up very well. It is very cute underwear and my son enjoys it, so I am pretty happy with it. It fit very well on my 45lb tall 3 year old son, who has solid thighs. He is a size 6 and the pants fit perfectly. I don't want my clothes to be too tight, but I also don't want them to be too loose. There are very few of them.
