Selected User Reviews For Izod Boys' Long Sleeve Dress Shirt with Tie
If my son wore these on a regular basis, I'd buy ten of them. He said that of all the dress shirts I bought for three consecutive days of "dressing up" for a wedding, this was the most comfortable. I paid a lot more for one to match a bridal party suit, but it wasn't nearly as well made. br>br>The fact that the colors are rich and the tie is of good quality just made me happy; you can't beat this price. br>br>He had a third with a vest Etc from a local department store, but it was nowhere near as nice. br>br>The fit was true to size, and it washed well with little wrinkling.
The shirt is of good quality and does not appear to be cheap. A stain from the tie was mentioned in a few reviews. The shirt I received had it as well, but only very faintly, so I'm fine with keeping it (the tie will hide it anyway). However, if this bothers you, I would advise against purchasing a tie-in shirt. In terms of size, my child (5'4'', 115 lbs) is a size 20. He also fits into a size 18 Calvin Klein pant. I bought the sizes based on the other reviews and they were spot on. Thank you very much for all of the positive feedback. Also, I believe the white shirt goes with a green tie and the blue shirt with a red tie (not as shown in the photo), as the other reviews stated (mine came with a green tie). If you're serious about getting the red tie and white shirt, it's best to double-check before purchasing.
Will require an undershirt, which is a nice but thin shirt. My tall, skinny, 70-pound 8-year-old ordered a size 8 and it barely fit. I crammed him into it for an hour (for his school's music program), but we won't be able to put it on again. It definitely comes in small sizes!.
My 14-year-old was given a size 16 shoe. The size is correct; however, the material is thin, and the tie is extremely narrow, to the point where the collar can barely cover the top. I was disappointed because I had hoped for more from the IZOD brand.
It was exchanged for the next size up, but it was still too small. This does not correspond to typical boy sizing.
The quality is far superior to what I had anticipated. I bought a size 10 for my son because he wears a size 12 and weighs 81 pounds, and it fits perfectly. I could have gone up a size, but it would have been too big in certain areas. The 10 is ideal for him because I like the tapered look. It will accomplish its goal.
I bought this shirt because the Calvin Klein shirt I bought for my son a few years ago didn't arrive in time; my oldest son fits comfortably into a size 10, but I bought up so I could wear it for more than a year. We just opened it up, and it barely touched my son's wrists when he put it on, and it's see-through. It is also difficult to iron. This is not something I would recommend.
I picked up a few of these a few months ago. A few of the buttons fell off of two of the shirts after I washed them last month. I was so frustrated when I took the last shirt out of the package to use for my grandson's graduation and discovered a pink streak running the length of the front of the shirt. Because it was still in its original packaging, it had to be from the tie. This buyer has been a huge disappointment. AGAIN.
