I like this sweater a lot. Due to his height and skinny physique, I usually have a difficult time shopping for my boy, but I really like how this sweater looks The large fits him well because he is 12 years old and about 5 feet 4 inches tall. I plan to get a couple more.
When I saw this sweater, I was so excited. M is the size that I ordered for my son who is narrow and average height. I love it so much! It's been a hit with him, but on the first day he wore it he came home with a large seam rip along the left underarm and fabric stretching at the shoulders. It was mended using two different methods, the first being the use of double-sided tape that left that white transfer on the photo, and the second being the use of a quick sewing method. In contrast, the picture shows a hole only a third as big as the actual one. In the second picture is a hole around the right wrist that appeared shortly afterward. My jack from the same brand is a different style and does not give me any problems. A perfect blend of craftmanship and quality, these sweaters look and feel great. My issue with it DID NOT stop me from recommending it. You can size up if you want an oversize cardigan since the material and style do better as oversized garments.
The cardigan I have on is just perfect. During the ordering process, size 2 was ordered I received 3 points for my 2 points. At 5 years old, it is a good fit with a little room for growth.

The first thing that I would like to say is that I have bought pretty much every sweater at Hope & Co. There is a place for my son to stay with Harry. I'm pretty much the only one who buys the brand for my son and I just get him a new size up as he grows because I love the style so Nevertheless, this particular sweater started falling apart in stitching from multiple places within the first or second wash. It is possible to stitch it back up most of the time, but it is an inconvenience since the exact color etc is extremely difficult to match. It was a very good price I paid, so I expected a lot more. Material is quite good and hasn't shrunk, faded, or anything else to do with it. Just for the style factor on a crisp day, it looks great tossed on top of practically anything.
As he is very tall and has a long torso, when I saw this sweater I was worried it would be too short, but it fit perfectly when he tried it on. The building falls apart after being exposed to the elements for just one The elbow patch from the sweater came undone, and then the edging with buttons separated from the rest of the sweater, as well as the seams started coming apart.
