Due to the price and since it is a brand I absolutely love because of its excellent quality, I was very excited about this purchase. I have purchased two other 4 piece Nautica outfits for my son from department stores in the past. By the time I took it out of the bag, I knew immediately that this was not Nautica. It felt like the shirt was the only thing made of quality. As I moved my eyes around the store, I noticed that it was the only item that had the Nautica name on it. Based on my past purchases from department stores, I know for a fact that EVERY piece has the Nautica tag stitched in. The quality of the fabric and stitching on three of the four items I received was very cheap, and the stitching was very poorly done. Three of the four items I received had no name stitched into them - they just said "made in China". It was evident that the pants had stitches sticking out of them. The price is reasonable if you're planning to wear it just once, such as at a wedding or during a vacation go then I guess it's worth it, but If you're like me and plan on wearing it time and again then I wouldn't recommend purchasing it.

I always find that the clothing of the Nautica brand fits my son perfectly. That was also the case in this suit. Earlier this year, I searched for a grey suit for my niece's wedding, and this ended up being right for her. A lighter grey Nautica shirt and bow tie are actually what I purchased to match A lot of compliments were paid to my young son the day of the wedding. It was adorable, and I thought it would be great. Aside from being easy to wash, it is also durable. We got married on a farm, so my son was covered in dirt from the wedding. The seat and knees of the suit are filthy and embedded with hair. In just three washings, I got everything out. When I dried it, it looked pristine. As a side note, I admit that I'm not crazy about the plaid shirt and tie and almost didn't buy it, but possibly it will look cute for Easter.

I remember how beautiful it was when my then 3-year-old was there. This suit was a great buy for a few more dollars as it had an unexpected but very welcome sheen that made it stand out from a plain kids suit you'd find at Walmart. When he appeared at my cousin's wedding, he looked like a handsome little boy. The teenager is large for his age, standing about 38 inches high and weighing about 38 pounds. MY SON found the fit to be a little snug, but that was to be expected for his size, which was in the 90th percentile for his height and weight. I doubt the 4T would have given him more chest room, but if it did, it would have been too loose My purchase has exceeded my expectations in every way! I'm so happy with it!.

I believe, however, that the shirt is a little small. There were smaller shoulders and shorter sleeves than other Nautica 4T shirts my son owns, and my son owns dozens of Nautica 4T shirts, so I had plenty of options to compare it to. Looks very cute! I enjoyed the materials used, and the color scheme was very flattering thank you for the gift. My son has blonde hair and blue eyes, and this color blends really well with him. My boys enjoyed this outfit, as they felt very "big boy" wearing it. I particularly like the little anchors on the shirt. I've purchased two Nautica sets on Amazon now, and both have been exceptional quality, especially for the price. I've received countless compliments from friends and family on how adorable they look in them.

In the beginning, we tried to buy a 5T since that's what my son wears, but it was too big, so we went with All of the items fit well (only the sleeves on the shirt are long), so I would definitely buy these suits again. A size 3T of these suits (for my 2 year old) and a size 5 (for my 4 year old) fit my children perfectly. My fitting of these shoes is very good, and I can use them for a couple of years. There is a little excess room in the shirts and vests, as to be expected, but it is not so large that it looks offensive. When they're a year or so old, I think they'll look nicely fitted without being tight. I think this would be perfect for boys of this age as they slim down as they get older. It should be easy to fit without having any trouble with the waist, and the length can be grown into quite easily. The quality of the material seems good, though I did find a couple missed stitches that shouldn't be visible to the casual observer (I discovered them while doing alterations) and aren't situated in a way that will cause damage.
