If you're going to a water park, yes, but if you're going to walk on dry land, no, because it'll be very uncomfortable after a while. Instead, you should use crocks.

What size should I get in these if I wear a 5 in big kids boys and a 7 in womens? Is it true that they only cater to children aged 6 1/2 and up?

Because my son is a size 4 and I wear a size 6 in women's shoes and they fit, I believe you can wear a size 5.

Daughter is bothered by the insole

My 6-year-old has wide feet, and she couldn't even get her foot into the store-bought water shoes. So I bought these after reading reviews and they fit perfectly! We had to take the insoles out because they were hurting the back of her heel, and she is a picky shoe wearer. She also complained about the back of her ankle being rubbed by the shoe. But they were definitely wide enough, and the Velcro is fantastic, as is the thick bottom!.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES AS THEY ARE DEFECTIVE! My newly purchased water shoes have disappointed me greatly. The glue/seam detached around the toe area on the first day I wore them to water aerobics. I was given the option of exchanging the shoes, but my replacements aren't due until late July, which is inexcusable. DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE!.

My son got blisters because the toes were too hard, but other than that minor issue (add socks), he loves them and wears them every day.

We can't get them to wear regular shoes because they adore them so much. It's very relaxing. They, too, are enamored with the appearance. We went to the beach, and I wished I had a pair of flip-flops as well!.

The quality is excellent, but the size is a little small

We purchased pink camo, and the colors are even more vibrant in person. My 8-year-old daughter wears a size 3 in Nike, and I ordered a size 4 that I'm returning for a size 5. I'm hoping these will hold up to a hike through Zion's narrows and any other water activities we encounter!.

This is a great pair of shoes that fit true to size, so order your normal size. I've worn them in the pool, the lake, and the ocean and they've worked out perfectly every time. Indoors or out, quick drying is a must. The ideal shoe for those who want to be light on their feet.

I bought these shoes for my son, and he loves them. He wears them to the pool and the beach all the time, and he hasn't complained. We've purchased others in the past that have come apart or had the insole fall out. He's had no problems with these shoes so far, and he's worn them for the majority of the summer.
