These were originally purchased for my son's fireman Halloween costume, but they have since been worn almost daily because my son adores them. They've been 6 months and are still in excellent condition (I order a size larger for rain boots because we wear thick socks when it's cold). Both of them disintegrated in three months ("rainy California") - Look at the pictures. I purchased two pairs - one for myself and one for my daughter. A toddler in size 5 and a big kid in size 4 are both available. For example, older students wore them to school for 30 days. Younger wore them for about the same amount of time, but I'm not sure how many times. Both couples were unable to keep their relationship together - Look at the pictures. br>br>Everything else about the boots was fine, though the insoles in the smaller pair wouldn't stay in place, according to my wife. br>br>This is unlike any other pair of boots I've purchased on Amazon (albeit from a different brand) in the past few years - After our boots were outgrown, we were able to pass them on to other children. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. I was only able to photograph the toddler size because I couldn't locate my daughter's "big kid" size pair at the time. They're in worse shape because they let these cracks form on the bottom, which defeats the purpose of the boots in the first place - to protect your feet. This is to keep your feet dry when it's raining.

If you can only choose between two sizes, choose the smaller one. I'd say they're in the 1-percentage-point range. Big by two sizes. If not, they are improved. I was able to obtain them in a reasonable amount of time.
My son has only had them for a couple of months and already the rubber is cracking and the sole is coming apart; they were cheap, but I expected them to last at least through the winter. br>Recent changes: I'm bumping this up to three stars because Lonecone customer service was extremely helpful and quickly sent us a replacement pair.
6/27/18 Update: It's time to replace these after my son has worn them almost every day for the past eight months. I think these are great because he usually rips a pair of shoes in two months. Right now, I'm placing an order for a larger pair! br>br>2/1/18 Update: We've been using it for four months and it's still going strong. Yes, they are worn, but there are no signs of deterioration. This is a brand that I will continue to purchase!! These boots are fantastic! br>br> For toddler feet, the pull handles are a must. I have two other pairs that don't have handles, and getting them on him is a pain. He won't have any trouble walking with these because they're flexible. My son usually wears a size 4, so I ordered a size 5 so he could keep them longer. I would recommend these, and I plan to purchase them in a larger size in the future.
For my almost-two-year-old daughter, I needed a pair of rain boots. year- Splashing in puddles is a favorite pastime of my five-year-old daughter. This was one of the first results, and there were several options, so I let Baby choose. She had a great time looking at all of the different pictures before deciding, "I choose. " Butterflies are everywhere! "br>br>She couldn't wait to try on the boots when they arrived. "So lovely butterflies," she kept saying. It appeals to the baby. "They fit as expected based on the company's size chart (NOT Amazon's standard size chart). " br>br>The build quality is something that really impressed me. The boots are made by a small company, but they feel very well made, as if they were made by a large, well-established company. The soles and uppers are both made of thick rubber, with a grippy tread on the soles. br>br>I can already tell that these boots will last a long time-- or until Baby decides she is no longer fond of butterflies.
They fit true to size (I measured my 19-month-old daughter's shoes and used the size chart to choose the 6T size, which was perfect) and have held up well over many uses with no visible wear and tear. They are simple to put on and take off, and my daughter enjoys wearing them (to the point where she wears them even when it isn't raining). I ordered the mermaid design, which no longer appears to be available, but the other designs are all very creative and colorful. She was the only one wearing these boots in her daycare class!.
