This is an inaccuracy in the description. This jacket is clearly labeled as a windbreaker and water resistant on the tag. It's a raincoat, according to the Amazon description. Raincoats, on the other hand, are water-resistant. I bought this coat to use as a rain jacket, and I'm disappointed that the online description misled me into buying it.
It's adorable, and the dinosaur print is fantastic. It's solid and well-constructed. Although the jacket has a nice jersey lining, it is only water RESISTANT. On Amazon, it's described as waterproof, but the tag specifies that it's only water resistant, not waterproof. It works well as a windbreaker. Not exactly what I was looking for in the hot, humid summers of New Orleans with a young son who loves to play in the rain. I intend to return. br>br>In terms of size, I purchased a 2T for my 19-month-old and found it to be too big. He'd be able to grow into it, but it'd swallow him whole if he didn't.
Following other reviews that stated that this jacket ran large, I ordered a size 4 for my son, figuring that it would be a little big on him at first, but that there would be room to grow, so it wouldn't be a big deal. When it arrived, I had him try it on, and I discovered that it was smaller than I had anticipated. The size 4 barely reaches his wrists and sits right at the bottom of his pants. Overall, I'm impressed with the jacket; however, I don't understand why some people claim it runs large when it fits like a size 4 should. This jacket will be ordered in larger sizes next year.
Heavily laden. Despite the fact that it was listed for boys, I bought a 3T and 4T for my granddaughter. The 3T had to be returned because it was too tight, but the 4T is perfect for my body, with long sleeves that I simply roll up.
This raincoat is absolutely fantastic! It's adorable and cute. My son loves it when the dinosaurs turn different colors when it rains. It's of excellent quality, and I'm glad I decided to buy it. This is a must-have for your child if he or she enjoys dinosaurs.
It was cute, but I returned it before I had a chance to try it on. The print came off completely when I washed it. Before we put on our new clothes, I wash them. And it only lasted one wash!.

So much so that when my older child misplaced his, I had to order a new one for him. It arrived in excellent condition and arrived quickly. However, I noticed right away that the fleece lining in the first two jackets had been replaced with a thin "jersey lining. " Because this jacket is so light, it will not keep your child warm or dry. Unfortunately, the new material was chosen at an inopportune time.
This jacket is just as much a hit with me as it is with my toddler! It also appears to work well in the rain.
