Questions & Answers

I'm a size 6 women's shoe. Should I get a 4 or a 5 because it is so wide? My foot is wide, but the regular women's chacos are just a tad too narrow for me. ?

If you want to be comfortable, I recommend getting a size 5 for wider feet. When it comes to Chacos, it's common advice to order two sizes down, but if you're a size 6, you should order a size up. The Chacos have adjustable straps, so if you have wider feet, the 5 might be the best choice. I'm a small 5 reg and wear a 4 in Chacos.

Is it true that these buckle?

A slide buckle can be used to tighten the belt. loosen. The straps can then be adjusted as well, with instructions included.

A few years ago, I purchased some. In women's sizes, I usually wear an 8, so I ordered a 6. It appeared to be a little on the small side. Is a 7 the right size or is it too large?

In these, I bought a size 5 because I usually wear a size 7. There is ample space.

Do they allow your feet to slide forward without the toe piece?

Hello,br>br>These shoes, even without the toe piece, should not allow your feet to slide forward. These sandals should be secure and comfortable to wear, with no slipping.

Adults vs

children. I have a Chaco for adult women and was curious how these compared. I was purchasing them for my children as well, but in a variety of colors. I assumed we were all the same size, but I soon discovered that we were not. These had a smaller arch and width than the women's size, which was ideal for my narrow-footed children, but not for his twin brother. They both wear the same size running shoes, but one has a wide foot and the other has a regular foot. We ended up returning one and ordering a size down, which is still a little loose when tightened. br>I decided to keep the teal ones. I usually wear a size 8 or 9 shoe with a wide toe box. Teal is a color I use in my home. They have an arch that I need, but it's not as high as the adult. I've included a photo of the teal child sandal and the black adult size. The straps on the teal are short, almost too short. You'll also notice that my foot spills out the sides of the children's teal. They are difficult to run in because of this. br>I'm keeping the teal, but I prefer the larger women's sandal to the smaller children's sandal. The teal children's is also lighter, but this could be due to the black ones being an older version (I believe they are 2 years old and have survived water, running, and everyday life).

Once you've gotten the hang of them, they're simple to put on and take off
5/5

I'm a 7-year-old woman. Most shoes have a rating of five. The big kids 6 fits perfectly with a little room to spare, but I walk a lot in these and appreciate having enough room for my feet to swell a little without the straps rubbing. Once you get the hang of it, these are a breeze to put on and take off. The color of the hugs and kisses is actually black with light pink lines (which I mistook for white in the photo), but it's super cute and subtle. I've never worn women's chacos because the kids' sizes are half the price, but I've had my other pair for two summers and they're still going strong, unlike my birkenstocks. If they begin to stink, I simply wash them in the sink with woolite and air dry them, and they are as good as new. They're great for walking in the rain because they have a thick sole and dry quickly. I've worn them to Disney several times (for a total of 25,000 steps), and they're the only shoe that can keep up with me.

For almost a decade, I've been a fan of Chacos
5/5

This isn't the case! For the past eight years, I've been a die-hard Chacos fan. As a camp counselor, I purchased my first pair, and they accompanied me through creeks, mountain climbs, and many other adventures. They were on my person almost every day. br>After many years of hard use, my front straps finally gave out. Although I was disappointed because they were by far my favorite shoes, I realized that it was probably time to move on. br>br>As a result, I went to Amazon and ordered another pair of Big Kid size 6 Chacos. I'm in love with you all over again! br>By the way, I usually wear a 7 1/2 or an 8, so I ordered a 6 (which is a women's 8) and they fit perfectly. br>Because I have wide feet, going half a size up is a good idea! br>br>Don't tell anyone, but I think I like my new ones better than my old ones. I'm not sure if it's because of the style or because they're brand new, but I think the sole is more durable and the support is better. br>br>I was concerned that my old faithfuls would be irreplaceable (for sentimental and broken-hearted reasons). My only caveat is that the "gray" pair is more of a blue-gray in color. br>br>My only caveat is that the "gray" pair is more of a blue-gray in color. br>br>My only caveat is that the "gray" pair is more of a blue-gray in color. br>br>My only caveat is that the "gray" pair is more of a blue-gray ish gray. They're still a lovely color; in fact, I like them even better than they appear in the photo, but the color does differ from the photo (at least to my eyes)!.

A woman's size 6 is equivalent to a child's size 4
5/5

I tried on a pair of classic Chacos for women a few years ago, but they were uncomfortable. The arch support was too high and the hardness was excessive. The ecotread soles for children are softer and more flexible, and the arch support is just right for my foot. I usually put on a size 6 shoe. In women's sizes, a 5 shoe and a 6 sandal are available. I now own several pairs of ecotread Z1s for kids, as well as this pair of zx1. The Z1s are a little easier to adjust, and the sizing and excellent quality are consistent from pair to pair. Chacos are unique in that they have a single strap that runs across the toes and over the instep, making them completely adjustable. Several videos on how to get a custom fit can be found on YouTube. They stay in place and are simple to put on and take off once adjusted. Highly recommended for those who have suffered from plantar fasciitis and are looking for a supportive shoe at a low cost.

THE COMFORT IS EXTREMELY APPRECIABLE
5/5

I'm not sure what went wrong with my last pair of Chacos, but this pair is a LOT more comfortable! This sandal has a great arch support and strap placement. They cinch around my ankle without having a mile of extra material to tuck and tie (as my previous pair did). To be completely honest, I bought a women's size 8, but this is a "Big Kid's" size 6 (measurements are the same). I'll never use a woman's model again! I didn't want a completely black pair, so the aesthetics are also fantastic. The straps' design, as well as the lighter gray bottom platform, help to break up the monotony of the color. Last but not least, there are no toe straps on this pair, which I adore! I'll never buy shoes with a toe strap again. Some of my favorite sandals (from other brands) have toe straps, but the toe strap on my previous pair of women's Chacos was so difficult to get my toe into that I dreaded sitting down to put them on (a 5-minute process). a brief ordeal A seamless slip-on is possible with this pair. I ADORE THEM!.

I bought a size 3 for my daughter and it did not fit and appeared to be defective
3/5

We're returning the shoes because the front straps were WAY too loose on her foot, despite the fact that the length, width, and other straps fit perfectly; they were not secure on her foot and would be dangerous to wear around. When I went to print the return label, I discovered that, contrary to the listing, there is a fee for returning these shoes - a little more than $5 I would advise against purchasing anything from this site.
