The distance between the two is very narrow

This is a pretty good-looking shoe that appears sturdy, but it is extremely narrow, so unless your child has a very thin foot this is not the shoe for them. I was able to accurately determine the length.

Protection isn't as strong as it could be

The look of them was great, and when we received them my son loved them as well. There was only one thing that made me nervous about the material I thought he wouldn't get cleet protection from stepping on it and the ankle support was too little if he was being rolled onto his feet. It's very light for sprinting and maybe a shoe for someone who doesn't have as much contact as my wide receiver, but it's not for him.
