This is a costume piece we bought On a cold day on the way to school, this would be fine. If my kids were wearing this hat, I would not allow them to play outside in the cold or snow.

It's great for kids who like the movie Up, because the hats are super cute. However, the hats have no stretch to them. A child should be able to fit into it from age 2 to 8 The age is 8 years old. It's not going to happen. It barely fits on the head of my older son, who is 5 years old. They'd probably be a great choice for kids 2 to 4 It has been four years since she was born. It can be tied down into a chin strap by tying down the ear flaps. It is possible to remove the goggles from the hats.
It would be one complaint if the youngest had taken off a bit of the foam on the parts of the goggles, lol, but it's not noticeable. It looks like they're having fun!.
The book is also perfect for older children! Hats that are too cute for words. I bought this for my daughter, who is 9 years old. It fits I simply sewed the goggles smaller because they were a little large. Had some issues with the hot glue holding the flap down and goggles to the back, but we actually preferred to have the goggles separate from the hat, so not a big deal.
