I bought a 4T for my daughter when she was two years old, and she now wears a 3T. 4T clothing fits true to size; I chose the larger size to ensure that it would fit her for a longer period of time; it is not too big; she has some wiggle room. If she's tiny, I'd get the 6months, but if she's going to bulk up or grow quickly, I'd get the 9months.

My daughter lost her grip on it and it fell off. My little girl is four years old. I initially ordered a 5t for her. That was a size or two too large. So I got a 4t for her. That was still a bit too much. The bottom part of the dress had no elastic and simply fell off of her. There are two sizes available. Bathing suit with a lot of style. The proportions were all wrong.
I bought this in a size up for my toddler (she's a 2T, but I think I got a 3T) so she could wear it all summer (and hopefully all winter if we can go to the Y). The tops are a little large, as expected, but they fit her perfectly; the bottoms are loose (as they should be), but tight enough that I can fit her reusable swim diaper in them without them falling down. My main gripe is that it's cut so low that if she didn't wear anything underneath, her little butt would be exposed! It has a lower rise than a pair of low-rise jeans. I'm thinking of having her swim in her swim diaper and one of the tops because it looks silly on her.
I like that it includes a top and a rash guard, but I wish the bottoms in the 2T had a little more coverage; she gets more than half of her diaper stickers out of the tiny bottoms, making them almost useless; I'll probably just use these tops with a reusable swim diaper.
It is extremely cost effective. It's the perfect fit for her tall, slender frame. There aren't many sets out there that include both a swim top and a matching rash guard, and this is exactly what I needed. My only criticism is that the arms aren't quite long enough.
Depending on how much sun there is, I like the tank and sleeved options. My 4. Daughter is 5 years old and weighs 34 pounds and stands 3'3" tall. She's petite (15th percentile for weight and 30ish for height) and wears a size 4T, which fits her well. It's possible that it'll fit in the 5T, too. It appears to be a good/tight fit.
This suit is both adorable and practical. It hasn't shrunk, stretched, or piled after being washed. It has a small amount of stretch to it. For my two-year-old, I purchased a size 2T, which she has worn frequently for the past three months. I wish I had purchased a larger size so she could have used it for a longer period of time. Would suggest.
This is fantastic! My daughter is only four years old, but she is already quite large. I got a size 5 and it's just right. She usually dresses in a size 5 on Fridays. The long-sleeved tee is a little big, but the other two pieces are perfect, and she looks adorable! The quality of the materials appears to be excellent.
This video features my granddaughter, who is absolutely adorable. The fit and style appeal to my daughter as well. It's been worn a few times now and is still in good condition.
