I went with the size that my daughter normally wears. My little girl, however, is small for her age in terms of height and weight. I'd pick the number nine. I ordered four of these in the 12 month size and am very pleased with them.
The bottom is a standard swimsuit bottom with no built-in swim diaper. Your child's swim diaper can be accommodated in this bag.
Hello! The 12- There is a zipper on the back of the 18m size.

- did not turn yellow as a result of the sunscreenbr>- Even in "brown" beach water off the coast of South Carolina, white remained white
br>- FIT IS ACCURATE TO SIZE! I could have bought their true size (twins who are 2. 25 inches apart) if I had sized up. A 3 and a 4 are the most common shoes worn by a 5. A 4 and a 5 were purchased. The necks were a little big and the tops were a little long. br>- Please order your true size! COVERAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE These bottoms will not show any pull-ups, diapers, or swim diapers (cloth or disposable). I also appreciated my children's modesty in not exposing their bottoms!
- SPF that is effective. These are undoubtedly successful. We didn't use sunscreen under the tops until the end of the week, indicating that the suit's SPF 50 is effective!
- Although I dislike the name "ruffle butts," their logo was obscured by the fact that the shirt hung over the bottom (not just because they were large on them). I believe it would be covered in any case), which pleased me.
- I didn't have time to add a monogram to these, but they're adorable as is, and I love that they don't have any crazy designs or patterns. Simply put, it's a classic. br>- For these the cost was 100% worth it and I will purchase multiple styles from this brand for next summer! br>br>Con: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place Although it did catch a small amount of sand, it was still insignificant in comparison to other suits.
Pros: It's cute, and for some, it'll do the job of protecting the baby from the sun and, of course, allowing them to swim in it. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. I have a three-month-old baby. She's a chunky monkey, standing 23 inches tall and weighing 15 pounds. Sizing seemed to be a bit of a mixed bag in the reviews, so I went with a size up (I believe I went with a 9). (She fits in most 3-month sizes. ) Clothing sizes 6 and 6 m. ) The top was a good fit, and she could wear it this summer while still growing into it. It slid above the belly button on a regular basis. The bottoms were far too large. Huge, as if falling off a cliff into water. Worst of all, the fabric is extremely rough! After only ten minutes of wearing it, she had tiny scratches all over her body. You'd think that if a baby has sensitive skin, they'd think about it. Though cute. br>br> It is not something I would suggest.
I ordered two RuffleButts swimsuits for my 3-year-old daughter: a purple short sleeve and a turquoise long sleeve, both in size 3 (she weighs about 35 pounds). The suits are well-made and well-designed. She'd worn them to the pool a couple of times this summer. We just returned from a 10-day beach vacation, during which she wore these every day in the sand and salt water, and I machine washed them every evening on gentle. Both suits appear to be in excellent condition. They also provide excellent sun protection. She is a red-haired redhead with a fair complexion. I didn't put sunscreen on my head, and I didn't wear any underwear. The rays were unable to pass through. I'm definitely going to get some new ones for her next summer. She has Down syndrome, and this is her first trip to the beach since she was able to walk on her own. With the ruffles on her backside, she walked in front of me, which I loved.
BEWARE - A zipper is shown on the neck in the description, but the suit does not have one! The neck of the suit is extremely small, making it difficult to get it over the heads of small children. My four and five-year-olds both despised the difficulty of putting these on. It's in desperate need of a zipper!.
I wanted an age-appropriate suit for my baby (who is now 6 months old) so I bought one. suitable for sun protection, and the sizing of this one suggested that I could get by with only buying one suit for the summer. br>br>The bottom is a little tighter than I expected, but it will stretch out as she grows. I wasn't expecting the Rufflebutts tag to be as thick as it was (think a nickel thickness). The shirt is absolutely stunning. It's long enough in the torso to hide her tummy, and the sleeve length (currently elbow length) will grow with her. The main issue is that after only two wears, one of the seams where the arm meets the body (right in the armpit) is starting to separate, resulting in a small hole (my pinky tip almost fits). I was able to whipstitch it back together, but I was taken aback by how quickly it all happened. br>br>Overall, despite the minor flaws, I would buy this suit again for my little girl; it's a cute suit that meets my needs.
The color was very bright and fun when I first opened the package. To balance out the brightness, a white polka dot print was added. The material was thick and pleasant to the touch, which I appreciated. The sizing, on the other hand, is completely incorrect. My child is small for her age and was unable to fit into the size requested. I wouldn't dare to try to get her to fit into the bottoms because they were too tight and would leave marks on her skin. There is an imbalance between the top and bottom. The top might fit, but the bottom would be impossible to wear comfortably. If you add water to the mix, you're in for a disaster. I'd have to order 1 swimsuit in order for it to fit. Up a size. The top will fit a size larger, but the bottom will not. The top will be loose but the bottom will fit if you size up two sizes. I had high hopes for the swimsuit and wished it had worked out. I'm hoping they can improve their sizing, but I'll have to look elsewhere until then.
I love this brand (ruffle butts = TOO STINKIN CUTE), but the bottoms were too small to fit a swim diaper underneath, and we even ordered up a size thinking this would be an issue (ordered 12-). Our petite 9-month-old daughter is wearing an 18-month-old size). The rash guard top, on the other hand, fit our daughter perfectly, so it's difficult to say whether ordering up two sizes is the best option. I'd like to see the smaller sizes (i. e. typically worn by babies who are still in diapers) included enough room for a diaper to be worn underneath.
