I had to give these thirsties duo wraps a try since we love the thirsties duo wraps so much! It has such a great print, and I love the material! I have a 7 month old baby who weighs 28 lbs. She has very chunky booties (as well as everything else lol) and her clothes don't fit correctly. Unlike the duo wraps, it is not fastened like the front. I actually unfastened the leg snaps all at once when placing my baby in her seat because I was afraid that it would be too tight because her legs are so chunky. In addition, she has to snap the last two waist snaps. It's likely that she will get a little thinner as she becomes more mobile, and I think the clothes will fit better I will update my review at a later time. As a result, I gave it 4 stars, as it kept the breastfed poo from escaping when she was in the pool. The leg snaps performed as designed not even with the leg snaps undone.
(In my opinion) This is the cutest diaper in the world! Thirsties Duo Wraps paired with OsoCozy prefolds are my favorites, so I knew that I wouldn't be disappointed when I tried this swim diaper! As an added bonus, I did not realize disposable swim diapers do neither absorb pee nor contain poop. It's scary to think back to my baby wearing disposable swim diapers in the back seat of the car while we went to the beach! It was a natural choice for me to switch to reusable swim diapers in that scenario. All you have to do is buy one! Despite the fact that it is disposable, the diaper is made to last and it is of high quality. It has a very soft waterproof TPU fabric, as well as a soft mesh lining. There are all snaps that work well, and the rise can be adjusted. I feel confident that my baby will be much more comfortable in these than the sposies! Thirsties, thank you so much!.
My baby loves these swim diapers more than all of our other reusable swim diapers, so I picked up a pair for him to match his 3 year old brother's. The snaps on the first year were very difficult for me to figure out, so it hung down from the bottom of the 3 year old's legs. Thirsty's website, where I watched the video, made me realize that I was overthinking this whole thing. In the middle of the bottom, the three rows of snaps are meant to be snapped together so that it can be shortened or lengthened. That makes sense! The more I know them, the more I love them!.
The fit is off with this diaper. I love thirsties diapers, but I was hoping to like it. Although the quality is great and they are very adjustable, even on the widest setting, my girl has pretty thick thighs, so these squeeze hers of even at The socks are so adjustable that going up a size would be a good idea.
I love how cute it is. The only problem is it's tiny. You can size your child up two sizes if he or she falls within the official weight limit but is a big kid. My daughter is 38 lbs but this couldn't close around her belly and the leg holes are the size of runway models. I don't understand how these recommendations really apply to the average child based on weight in the specs. I love it. I still think she's cute.
It is the larger size that I purchased for my 14 month old, who weighs 26 lbs. There is only a small amount on it. Although my daughter is not super skinny, I barely managed to get the snaps on the loosest setting when I tried to tighten the band around her thighs. Despite the time crunch, we would not have been able to return it if we didn't have to use.
It is definitely worth the money.
I cloth diaper my child and this is one of my favorite brands. My favorite feature is that it has two gussets on the legs, which I think are very helpful in preventing I have never had a leak with this swim diaper even when she has pooped a few times. A couple of these diapers were bought by me and I am very satisfied with them.
