In Florida, I bought this for my granddaughter to provide her with additional sun protection. The color and pattern are fairly unisex (and adorable), and it came with the cutest little sun hat made from the same swimsuit material as the rashguard, which she wore outside (but not on the beach). Except for the bottoms of her legs, I'd say it provided her with adequate sun protection. It appeared that the suit was cropped in length. It doesn't have a lot of breathing room - It's made of a lightweight bathing suit fabric. She was flushed and sweaty when we came inside because she was wearing it, but I'm not sure any suit (except none at all) would have kept her cooler. I wish those tiny sun hats were sold separately.
We went up a size because spf clothing works better when it isn't too tight and there is room to grow. The colors were exactly what I had hoped for, and the pattern was adorable. My baby is about 14 pounds and quite chunky. He's almost two months old, and his (used) six-month clothes are beginning to fit him better than his three-month clothes (I don't put my kids in tight-fitting clothes). Given that my children are both tall and outgrow clothing quickly, this was far too long for how "thin" they were. It would probably look better on older toddlers who have begun to lean out, but it isn't suitable for a chunky baby. I'm going to look for a two-piece set or order sizes separately to fit him better; I just wish it would've worked! It's adorable, and it even came with a hat to match.

I placed an order for a 9-inch pizza. For our 8, a 12-month period is required. It's only been 5 months, but it's already quite snug, with very little room for expansion. Otherwise, he's dressed in 9-month clothing, which will keep him warm for a month or so, but I was hoping to get him through Labor Day. br>br>He won't notice, but after washing and putting it on him, I noticed the fish print on the front is also upside down. Other than that, the quality appears to be good. However, you'd think they'd check to see if the print was facing the right way up.

I placed two separate orders. One will be smaller, and the other will be for a year. I love all of the different colors and designs, they're so cute, and the quality is excellent for the price. The material and SPF coverage are both excellent.
