For my first, I received a 3t. She's five years old, and it's getting tighter as she approaches two.
You put it on instead of a suit. They seemed to run small to me.
I've worn them under a regular or swim diaper, but you'll need to size up to account for the extra padding. They are also effective without the use of diapers.
I wouldn't go down a size because my 18-month-old is only 20 pounds and I ordered the 18-month-old. It fits perfectly at the age of 24.

If your child is small, order a size up; otherwise, order true to size. We ordered the 24 Mo and tried it on my 25-month-old daughter, who weighs 24 pounds but has thick thighs and stomach: I could barely close the snaps because it was far too tight for her. I would size up to a 3T or even a 4T for this brand because the snaps are difficult to open; To avoid damaging the fabric, carefully open it. If you're working with snaps on a squirmy or uncooperative child, this might be a little more difficult. My niece, who is 22 months old and weighs 18 pounds, fit perfectly in the 24 MO diaper (it was snug and easy to put on/take off). br>br>In my opinion, the iPlay prints are very cute, and features such as the girls' bum ruffle, elastic around leg holes, and waits are of good quality and provide a leak-proof fit. br>br>However, in the event of an accident/poop, I would not want to deal with trying to pull one of these off, especially when they are tight, wet, and clingy, even if they do snap open on one side, what a mess? Two- a sided opening rather than a pull-out either up or one- In my experience, being two-sided is very important.
I purchased this swim diaper because we cloth diaper and I wanted a reusable swimming diaper. I have a tiny 9-month-old, so I purchased the 12 month size, which fit perfectly. **These diapers run small, so order one size up! br>My daughter enjoyed swimming while wearing the diaper and felt secure in it. The diaper did not have any gaps and was very effective at keeping poo contained. The diaper has adjustable snaps on the side that make it incredibly simple to adjust and remove - This is a fantastic diaper feature! I'm glad we didn't have any leaks with this diaper, and I'd buy it again if I needed one. br>In the chlorine pool, the color didn't fade, and I simply hand washed the diaper with Tide and reused it the next day. It was a fantastic success! In addition, if you don't have a swim diaper, empty pocket diapers work well for swimming. Because swim diapers are designed to hold poo rather than urine, an empty pocket can also be used.
The swan print is particularly appealing to me. They're thick and well-made as well. However, as has been mentioned by others, these are extremely limited. My daughter had just outgrown her 2T bottoms, so I took everyone's advice and ordered a 3T. It's still a tight squeeze! The waistline is extremely narrow. The rest of the trunks, on the other hand, are quite large, and I'm concerned that switching to a 4T will cause her to balloon. We had an old swim diaper that was suitable for children aged 0 to 3 years (up to 28 pounds), and this is only slightly larger. I probably should have gone with the 4T in retrospect, but she doesn't seem bothered by it, so I'm hoping it will stretch a little. However, this will most likely only last through the summer. She's 28 months old and 27 months old at the moment. The weight is 29 pounds, and the height is average.
For the past six years, I've been buying iplay reusable swim diapers. It all started with my oldest, who was fed up with having to buy disposable diapers every day for swimming. Yes, every day, I said. When we lived in Hawaii, we used to go swimming every day. My son (and now 2-year-old daughter) both adore the water and insist on going swimming on a daily basis. When you're swimming in a pool or the ocean, this can quickly add up. 4- 5 times per week, 52 weeks per year This isn't a joke. Water is a favorite pastime of children. Maybe they get their surfing genes from their mother, but I can't say I don't enjoy it as much as they do.
Anyway fast forward to the girl, we recently moved to WA, with the ocean at sight this kid thinks she can swim in the Puget Sound But I'm getting ahead of myself. Amazon is here to help! After a 14-day road trip from Washington to Rhode Island, staying in hotels with only indoor pools (hey, they have to get the sillies out somewhere), I'm happy to report that they are still the best buy! br>br>I never appeared to have any of the issues with the fit. I simply go by the weights listed on iplay and place my orders accordingly. So far, no poopy pants with my daughter in these (fingers crossed), but yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, Before you say, "Oh dang, so gross," keep in mind that the side snaps are a lifesaver. I wasn't aware of this wonderful feature back then, so I didn't buy any with snaps. I'd have to slide the poopy pants down, and they'd spill all over the place! Oh, him, his legs, and the towel! These ones with the snaps, on the other hand, are incredible! By the second child, it's usually possible to spot the telltale signs that a turd is on the way. You all know what I'm referring to, right?.
I've always liked the iplay brand of swim diapers and used them until my son was potty trained. My 9-month-old is now enrolled in swim lessons, and all I have to do is remember that they are TINY. She's a chubby little girl who wears mostly 12-inch heels. I have her in a 24 month size iplay swim diaper, which fits her perfectly. She wears 18 month clothing and size 5 diapers. I like iplay swim and UPF clothes because they're stylish, affordable, and come in a variety of colors. But, oh, do they come in small sizes! The only issue with iplay is when children grow older but are not yet potty trained and outgrow the swim diapers. br>br>In conclusion, my 9-month-old is wearing a size 24-month swim diaper, which is adorable.
It's actually a good thing, because they DO KEEP POO IN! I suppose it'll be worth the lines on her body when I remove it. When we're at a play area with a stream, I also like that they absorb at least some pee, so I don't have to switch diapers as often. br>br>If these had been available in 3T (and I looked! ), I would have purchased them immediately. They are so stinkin' cute that I couldn't find them in that size on Amazon. They'd look great as a swimsuit bottom even if she didn't need diapers. When I wear these with a swim shirt, we're ready for almost any adventure!.
