I bought 3 of these (in both colors). I think they all look wonderful I am 6 months old). Due to the fact they're not cotton, they don't stretch much. Although the sleeves were not the same length on all boleros. The shortest sleeves on the first one were picked for her christening and longer sleeves on the other two can be worn when she grows a lot bigger. This is not a shade of white that could be used for a christening because the color white does not correspond to the shade of snow white. However, the white bolero I bought (I purchased "white") was an excellent match to my daughter's off white dress.
