I only use that extra step with this onesie, the only one in my baby's wardrobe. All the rest of what people say about it is true. It's a great piece of clothing with pleasant fabrics, and a great price. Someone will be able to make a more informed purchase decision if they know how to dry their clothes. I love the onesies - they're so cute! The cotton is so thick and soft. A leopard print one was bought when baby was born and I later got a gray one as baby grew out of the leopard print As far as I can tell, they hold up well after a few washings. Our favorite pajamas for him are this pair.
