This is a pretty solid piece of equipment. I think everything will be okay
waterproof because it is made of nylon with a light backing. On a very wet day, my granddaughter skied in it, and she stayed dry the entire time.

I got a medium for my tall 4 year old son, and It is unusual to have Oaki brand because everyone else has Oaki brand. The reason we got him oaki pants is that I was concerned he might have an accident trying to take them off. Thus far, everything seems to be going well. Rain visor is a major selling point for him. Mud is one of his favorite things. You win and you lose. In order to wash them through the machine, my husband ran them through the washing machine- Unfortunately, I don't recommend this since the visor got stuck together and became misshapen so it doesn't stick out like it should, which is what made my kid love it in the first place. We messed up. The only reason it stuck so well was probably he used cold water. He does everything with cold water, so I'm surprised it did.
They do an adequate job of keeping my babies dry and the visor is helpful. My kids were getting wet and muddy while we were out there around our Brook.
