It's just right to be 5 months old. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who is learning to walk as the soles are rigid and for a beginner, shoes should bend completely and these ones don't. If you use them for a few hours only, you might want to save the money.
Despite being very well made, the pouches are super cute and perfectly suited to my needs. It's a little bit bigger than I expected, but it's nice of them to do that. My daughter's foot will be more comfortable since the strap holds the shoe in place, even though the shoe is a little.
