I'm glad I bought this dress because it's absolutely adorable. Because the white is so bright, it draws attention to all of the other colors. It's made of 100% cotton and is very soft. The dress's bottom is hemmed with pink trim, which gives the hem a sculptured edge that you can't really see in the photo, but it's a cute detail. No shrinkage after a cold wash and low dry. I would highly recommend this set; I'm sad that it is probably the last Gerber purchase for us. My little one is more in a size 6 than a 5, but this dress fits great, as does the panty cover; the headband is on the small side; I would highly recommend this set; I'm sad that it is probably the last Gerber purchase for us.
The dress is exactly as I expected it to be. The bloomers, on the other hand, were far too big, and the headband, far too small. br>br>In other words, she'll only wear the dress and not the entire ensemble.
BUT, it's a lovely outfit. It arrived in a precarious situation. It had an obnoxious odor that made me gag, so I threw it in the washing machine right away. It was a very unpleasant experience. br>Why sell anything to anyone, especially something that "is new" and smells like that? I would have given it four stars if it weren't for the foul odor.
It's fine with me if I wear pink. I bought two of these as a gift for a friend (blue/white stripe and pink bunny) but had to return them because they appeared to be too cheap to give as a gift. It's probably fine for a day-to-day basis. day-to-day use, but not as a gift The blue/white striped dress was a disappointment because the white was not a bright white - It already appeared to be filthy.
It's the perfect size for her, and there's plenty of room for her to move around. It's incredibly soft, and the headband is fantastic as well! She's only a year old, so she'll probably be able to keep it on until the weather turns cold.
My goddaughter received this as a gift. I bought a doll version to go with it because she also received a doll from me for her birthday. Perfect.
It's made of a soft, stretchy material. It is comfortable to wear and does not irritate the skin in any way. It's a lovely sunny yellow color.
It made her look absolutely adorable.
