For that classic baby look, these summer shorts are perfect. Because it is made of muslin, it is very light and non-abrasive. The waistband is wide to avoid pinching the baby's chub. It was the perfect fit for my chubby 12-month-old. br>br>Here's where I have a problem: br>The colors aren't exactly as they appear in the picture. Pink, mustard, and pale grey are the colors that appear to be khaki, mustard, and blue. So, if you're buying to match colors or for a BOY to wear, keep in mind that one pair is pink and the other is grey, not blue.
Size up. I really want to like these because they're so cute for summer, but the sizing and stitching are terrible. The shorts in a single pack are all vastly different sizes. I'm glad I took the time to assess the situation. Another issue is that the seams are not at all straight. The front of the crotch has a straight center seam, but the back has a crooked one. The back tag, which should be centered, is off to one side if you hold the shorts up. My daughter is 35" tall and 25 lbs, so I ordered a 3/4. I'm keeping them because they're a little big and the sewing isn't too noticeable. The front seam is centered in the photo, and the back tag should be aligned with it as well.
My baby is in the 40th percentile at three months old, which means she isn't particularly large for her age. I bought these for her when she was two months old. The legs are fine, and the bottom has room for growth, but the waist is extremely tight and small! To loosen the waistband in some places, I had to open it up and cut it. The style is adorable, but the fit is a letdown.
These are a size 3 that I purchased. My daughter receives a score of 4 T. She'll be three years old in a few months. o, 33 lbs. , and currently wears size 4T in Old Navy, Gap, and Target bottoms and tops. Unfortunately, they were too big and should have been a size 5T (they reached her knees). They are very stretchy, and the material is light and fresh but not see-through, so I consider them to be of good quality; however, I would recommend air drying them. Also, despite the fact that they are unisex, I believe these are better suited for a boy or a younger babe who is still using diapers. I say this because the front of the shorts has a lot of material that created a bit of a bubble in the front, which was odd, but it could also be because the size was large to begin with.
Because my baby is growing so quickly, I purchased a size larger, and the elastic in the waist is disproportionately large in comparison to the legs. After a meal, the elastic is too tight for bloated baby bellies. I won't be wearing these shorts on a daily basis because I don't want to put my baby through that. br>I wouldn't recommend purchasing these shorts. Although I like the thickness and knitting style, I believe there are better options available.
My little munchkin isn't so little anymore, and at three months old, finding clothing that doesn't hang but also doesn't cut off circulation is proving difficult. These are not only adorable, but they're also lightweight and fit her perfectly! I would recommend going down a size if your baby is smaller, but these fit my chunky roo perfectly! Summer is on its way, hot girl.
These are so adorable on my baby! She's had them on since she was about two years old. They still have room for her to grow at 5 months and just turned 5 months. Because of the change in weather, they'll have to be retired soon, but I'm pleased with my purchase.
They run large. Because the price was so low, I'm keeping them until my daughter can wear them, which will most likely be next year - She usually wears a 3t, so I went with the 3t/4t (110) size.
